See. The thing is,
Other than being a storage area for helpful information............all FusionMOD was being used for is RP'ing. Notice how if you ever got on there, there was only one or 2 new posts about something? Well that there in lies the problem.

I dont go to their chat often. I prefer a forum over a chat.

At least when a hilarious comment or witty comeback is made, it is preserved for future members to see. I mean, thats the reason why we'd encourage members here to necropost. We had some good times here and they are preserved for all to see. With chat you cant do that.

Besides, Most potential members arent looking for a CHAT. They're looking for a busy, buzzing COMMUNITY.

(This is more than likely what he'd probably like to say if he were here at this time.)

The main problems beside the lack of chatty conversation:
1, It never got more active even after the threatened shut down last time.

2....................there's This[/size] and then three, there's FusionFall itself. But that is an issue on the back burner.



The main issue was the lack of content and new buzz/info/posts happening at the H.Q. Heck, even I got irritated with going there and not seeing ANYTHING. Made me feel like FusionMOD was so out of the loop of ANYTHING fusionfall. I sometimes even thought, "Why bother going to look. Ya know there's no new content."  


But I went anyway. Cause we're affiliates.


If it wasnt Jake that posted up new info on FusionFall's status, It rarely got posted. I mean, even I post up a thread now and then talking about the server population. 2 weeks ago, the Null Void was UNUSUALLY busy with new members. Kinda Ironic since chat is gone..............but lo and behold: a fresh batch of players and accounts were roaming around the null void like nothing ever happened.




Now,

This DOESNT mean Magnavox is done with FusionFall.
Wilt even gets on here from time to time................even though it may be to just morbidly depress us all with his style of posting. He's offered to help with the event I plan to run.............which I DO intend on this t-shirt thing.

Mainly because I INTEND on getting a shirt made for myself. So its not like its strictly a "Gotta do it for the community" thing. Its more of a "ERMAGERD! MY LINEARTS WOULD LOOK BOSS ON A WHITE SHIRT!!!

Maybe I should make some FusionFall designs?

ONT could use some more publicity, this should be good for them.......

An average shirt and stuff shouldn't be too expensive since I'll be making the design and letting them use it..........so maybe I can make a DUPLICATE of the shirt, keep the one for myself since its so awesome and give the other away for free for a contest online!!!! ^W^ "




He offered to help with the event. Also, he'll try to lurk more here and I believe he'll leave NCx up and going since I would need it for the event.

If I had my way, I'd make myself a shirt every so often with my own work and If I do, there's a high chance that I'll make a duplicate for anyone to have for free.



(I mean, if you think about it...........go on the forum site and you will see NO POST about the closure! THAT is the thing that is most irritating and Jake agreed with me on that. No new nothing............all the time. )

Well at least there will still be a forum to replace the current CN Social forum as it says on the notice.
Better than nothing at all.
Hopefully there will still be at least a few FusionFall sites/forums active including
Xtreme and FMHQ's replacement. I don't feel part of the community as I used to since I have
to dramatically reduce my time checking back here and FMHQ. But it's still a bit disheartening.
Dex, if you'd kindly post here an explanation or at least a comment of some sort, we'd appreciate it
especially since it feels like we've been left in the dark.

Like a street at night, (the internet) with lit ally ways and blocks, the FusionFall
block is getting darker. Even the Xtreme website itself isn't anywhere near as active as it used to be years ago.
(I know, it's my fault because I hardly update it anymore but I have my reasons -- too busy. But still, sorry about that. :/ )

I feel the need to make the affiliation concept seem more physical now that I see this analogy of
dimming FusionFall sites/forums on the internet.
Maybe I should add a proper affiliation module on this forum like I have with XFF13...
On the bright side, I see a thread about FF getting its chat back...

If anything x what backdoors do you have for this site if fusionfall shuts down?We can always just change the banner to fusionfall heroes so we dont stray too far from fusionfall.

I remember when I got to know what fusionfall central was then 1 week later it turned into pirate 101 central.Sorry for the decision and if you are final on it that's fine it was a good site that I enjoyed taking a look at now and then so yea.
@pwnzor I would make make just update the logo here and just make this site a cartoon/gaming/movie forum since most topics now lead to that and seem interesting enough so if fusionfall did shut down we would still have posts but we might make more members so yea... but its your decision xlr and if its still a fusionfall forum cool I like how this forum is not so strict and mostly interesting topics.
