now would i hardly call them perfect, they both seem to redeem in areas that the other lacks, while having their own faults at the same time, or am i just lying my butt off and trying to further Grumpy's sheep-based awesomeness

Just A LITTLE bit of crazy is fine. Makes the characters more fleshed out and not so generic. But you never want TOO many xtreme traits, or else you run the risk of commiting the same error as making them too perfect. Nice rework.
