Disney gave their reason when the news came out. Out with the old, in with the new, basically. They want to concentrate on newer projects.

What they should've done, is make the games FREE by entering the code. But, to make sure everyone else doesn't do it, they'd have to enter their Disney ID or something, as long as it has a Toon or a pirate on it.

Or something like that. When it comes to planning, I'm not exactly Fred Jones.

It would be difficult for KI to link with Disney like that.Let's face it.This is not fusionfall and you will have to pay at some point.

KingsIsles sounds like they are not related to the closing games in no way leagally and more sounds like the devs behind the 101 games.

I can respect this. Even though it IS a marketing ploy. However.......It would be close to something I would do.

Maybe some of the devs who originally worked on TT or PotCO moved to KingsIsles?

Even if one of the games ## down they can transfer your charecter and crowns to the other So your never losing money if they do shut down

thats what a community looks like advertising. using a sympathetic approach can easy swing a crowd.

but thats my AP English and Econ classes talking, this is really cool how at least another community sees and acknowledges players sadness and bond to our old games.

I could see that. Gringon DID go bankrupt not too long after Fusionfall. They probably got jobs somewhere else.

i'm max lvl in pirate 101 i'm waiting for the new world and i kinda quit wizard 101 ages ago but will still come back to it cause i left someone important there...
