Well, seeing how "The Great Fusion War" has now come to a stop, I just thought it would be a good time for me to pay my respects, and have a little history about Cartoon Networks greatest game ever...
When Cartoon Network announced FusionFall back in 2008, many were excited by the news of their favorite characters coming together in one big game. When released in 2009, you had to pay to get in-game, those who did, knew it was worth it, the graphics were great, the character designs were great, maps were great, nanos were great, everything was awesome, eventually the game became free to play, and kids, teens, even adults, get online to play. Soon everyone, (at one point) played the game, either for a couple days, then quit, or became hooked for live. Events were happened, updates were common, and new gear, armor, and nanos, also popped up. Sadly, as the years passed, this all stopped, people stopped playing, and updates were now rare. Soon though, in 2011, an update came that brought new npc's into play, but by 2012, nothing really happened, and by 2013, updates were gone. Many tried to bring back the old updates, such as the infamous "Project R", but that failed...eventually by August, 2013, FusionFall, was announced to be shut down, thus ending the Cartoon Networks, greatest game ever.
I didn't join the game until 2010, with my first character ever, Ezekiel Eon, (yes that was my first name, stop laughing) he only made it to level 11#, before being accidentally deleted. After two more years, I watched the "Seven Legends" by XLR8, and wanted to get back on FusionFall, I then created a new character, Dane Dweller, (Darth Vader music starts) he, by far, became my most famous character, after joining Xtreme. He started off as a simple guest, but in two to three month's, I became recognized as one of Xtremes most common members. Dane and I were on a roll, not only did we do missions, I could never do, but I made friends in-game, and past level 11# by a mile...it was like Dane had his own personality. Sadly though, on June 18, 2013, Dane was attacked, not by a fusion in-game, nor any virus out-game, but by a hacker...he ultimately destroyed Dane in the end. My account was gone, he was gone, and ever since, I was never able to get on FusionFall, Dane was only level 22#...me, nor him, have ever been to level 36# or even stepped inside the Dark Lands. Though he has died, his legacy hasn't, Dane made friends, and became known as Xtremes "Best Villain" so just cause he's physically gone, doesn't mean he IS gone.
So yes, have we all had fun with FusionFall, yes, have we had our grand moments, yes, why I made this topic is to point out, even though FusionFall isn't there anymore...doesn't mean it's gone, FusionFall, I will gladly say it is a child hood memory, and it will be remembered by all who played it, no matter how long, even if your just level 1#, or 36# you know, and gosh darn know, that FusionFall IS the greatest Cartoon Network game ever made...and we will always remeber....always.
