I finished my first piece of art on GIMP earlier, and put it as my dA ID:

Of course I drew it in my notebook first, took a picture of it, uploaded it to GIMP, ink it, colour it, ink it again, forgot about the background, erase the background, and ink it again.

And here we are. I now feel fairly confident about finishing that cover.

Yeah, it's... "cool" would be the wrong word, wouldn't it?  I used the airbrush on it, as you can probably tell.

Once you learn how to use it, and once you start finding all the little awesome tricks, you start to feel super epic...

Digital art is the only way i color things now  i just used to never color anything before (besides coloring books, but those took days cuz i'm too much of a perfectionist)
