| What reminisce can we revive from FusionFall? Cartoon network disabled it, I'm afraid it isn't revivable at this point. We could make other games based off of fusionfall (for example the minecraft server for it) But there isn't much we can actually do to revive it at all.. If i worked in cartoon network however i wouldnt just delete all the data of fusionfall when they were closing it down, heck, i'd keep the file at hand for future needs. i just hope CN was smart enough to at least hold a base file of FusionFall JUST in case if they decide if they really do want to bring it back. Overall, trying to revive Fusionfall after it's closing day efforts would be futile as much as it pains me to say. Don't think of me as a FuFa hater, no, i loved it x,D it was most of our homes really. |

| The revival project is being handled by FusionFall Resurrection.
Currently as of right now, they have no Game Coders. Everything is up in the air as of right now. Sure they snagged a bunch of game files..........even loaded up a small Portion of Pokey Oaks in Blender/Maya and whatever else............but they're not really hitting on anything hardcore or beneficial right now.
Wilt kinda stopped posting in the group not too long after I joined. I dont blame him. They tend to argue every now and then. I sometimes have to play "Peacemaker" to keep them from totally tearing themselves apart.
Not only that, the language barrier and the Broken english makes it hard to understand sometimes.
You can check their progress here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/445022638940085/487588124683536/?notif_t=group_activity
If that link doesnt work, just search up FusionFall Project 2.0 on facebook. Dont know WHY they havent changed the flipin name yet... |

| My proposal is long gone by this point in time, and I would recommend everyone just moving on in whatever way they see fit.
Project: Ressurrection (Project: R.....Seriously) aims to do exactly what I ad suggested, but are basically doing far worse than my original DEMONSTRATION piece, which was purely intended to look good and not really function. Its kind of like a quickly pasted together interpretation of barebones FusionFall, with no functionality aside from moving in the environment. |

| I kinda thought their preview video was like the sonic 06 one. Where the dude died a few times while playing, I think.
So wiltilt, is this the kind of stuff you'll be looking into as a career? Like working for game company's in the future and all. Since you seem to be really good at what you do it made me think it was what you wanted as a job and this project was your way of letting game makers know that they cold hire you or something.
Pretty personal question but idk if people ask about what you want to do other than the project.
Since I have no idea what careers everyone on the forum wanted. |

| Current agenda is to pursue teaching, but I could definitely see game creation in the future. It's more a hobby for me though at the moment, and I'm not seriously considering it a career option. |

| I'm considering animation. I wonder if CN would accept the 7 Legends? If not, I'll go with The 0 Man or Major Stupidity. De Zombieweasel always has a plan B. |

| Oliver... CN would harshly reject 7 legends. It's not... easy enough to market.Toys > TV show. |

You know everyone would like a blindfold that glows in the dark. ...I'm just thinking now how that would work. How about action figures? Every kid loves action figures...! |

| Actually..........there is some falsehoods in your statement.
There IS actually a group that is still continuing to try to remake the game. You can find them here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/445022638940085/
They have ripped models, as well as a small area of Pokey Oaks ripped. There........doing stuff. Thats all I can say.
PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD TELL ME YOU KNOW SOME C#! PLEEEEEASE! |

| Ohmigod. May I PLEASE use your post as an example!?
This is what I have been trying to tell them since I found out about the group from wilt. You're pretty much the perfect example of the reprecussions of their........chaoticness.
Its almost gotten to the point in which I just dont feel motivated to go out of my way to help anymore. Dont get me wrong.............there ARE some intellegent people in the group that DO know what's important. its just that they dont post often because everyone else is busy doing nothing important or clogging the page with useless fights and garble.
Lastly, They dont realize that they cant function on a flippin facebook page. They refuse to migrate to a website that is bigger and that is built for all kinds of people and............well its just one big mess.
But may I use your post as an example?
Lastly, I think wilt MIGHT be up for continuing HIS side of the Revive project if we get more people like you.
These forums that you see here were put here for his side of the project.......but not alot of us know how to do much. I have tons of experience with Photoshop........but I was taking some tutorials in blender to help out his project.
Right now, I know that there is Him and Eva that know C#. With you added that would make 3. However he said he needs those that are well versed in the coding language. But seeing as how the pickings are thin as it is, I dont think he will mind at all.
I'm just thankful that there are STILL some people like you that are out there that love this game but have the skills to do something about it. |

Eh. Sorta not really.
Of course, they'd have to be called to babysit since some of the members there like to bring their personal drama on the group page and throw it out there like EVERYONE THERE is a stupid immature little kid.
and they bicker like kids too.
So thats preeetty much all the devs are there for.
You know what? I'm gonna ask a couple of the guys there that I seen produce ACTUAL WORK a few questions.......of the secret kind.
Lastly, Thank you SO MUCH for signing up Hanna. You gave me faith that this project can still exist in someway and that there ARE people still looking forward to seeing this thing get off the ground that ARENT little kids. |

Oh no. Dont be. No one here expects anyone here to be 100% on board. We all have prior obligations and school.
Its totally fine. If wilt comes back and sees this, Im sure he'd appreciate any help possible. - Hannah90 wrote:
- You said you have Photoshop experience. Photoshop exp doesn't really help in terms of adding to the server since the textures for each model should already be there.
And now.......
You know my heartwrenching pain. Its the only thing I know I can do that is above average.
I'm sure you can relate: You know that feeling you get when you have to learn a whole new program? Its the worst feeling in the world.
You seem to really know what you're doing. I dont think I could even convince you stay if you didnt want to. You're already invested in bigger and better things. I could only hope to gain the same amount of experience as you in time.
I had went to college at one point for Computer Science. However I ran upon Financial Difficulty and is trying to get back right now.
But honestly, I know that this stuff just comes from learning the programs, languages and just overall experience. I just wish it was easier to get the experience needed..... |
