Soooo... good news and bad news...

Good news... i can actually draw anime guys...
Bad news... i can't seem to draw anime girls any more

but she didn't really want to be there i guess xD

i think i can do pretty good, i used to be able to copy pictures perfectly, but it jus wasn't working so i didn't use a reference or anything and i think she turned out a lot better...

Yeah, it's going to be hard, i spent all those years trying to shrink my heads and make then normallish xD haha but ths is fun, it reminds me of 7th and 8th grade xP some of those pictures were really good xP

Nothing wrong with that, I sit on my bed while drawing all the time! Ok, almost all the time. Other times I'm on the bus, or at college.  And there's nothing wrong with producing a lot of eraser shavings, other than that it means you'll have to buy another quicker than you thought.  

I guess it also means you've got the dreaded... Creative Block...!

Seriously i get it like every other day xD sometimes you don't know what to draw, and some days you just can't... the days i can't i normally just write, so at least i get it out of me xD and of course grumps gets it xD i can think of multiple tīmes he told me in the past about how he couldn't draw xP haha it happens to the best of us.... and then the rest of us.... xP

When I get it, I wait until an idea just pops into my head. In that time I either watch TV, listen to music, or just play games.  Once a good idea comes up, I attempt it, and sometimes I feel like this:

I just use Gimp. If I'm drawing a character based on a TV show, game, or whatever, I get a picture of that character and copy the colours.

Oh and x that picture was the one that i used as a reference xD hahaha (i know it's really close, i swear i didn't trace it though hahaha) but i'm flattered you'd think it was mine xD hahahaha xD

My coloring isn't very good, i can do okay at cartoony stuff, but normally i do a half cartoony half realistic thing hahaha xD like a video game  

But yeah, my coloring isn't that good hahaha xD i just use corel painter essentials and yse a bajillion layers and the burn and dodge tool is basically my life xD hahaha

But i could try coloring this one if you wanna see it  maybe i could try a new technique or something

so yeah, hate to disappoint you but i'm not that good xD


Oh btw oli! i actually do have gimp  maybe i should try it xP we'll see what it's like... my question is what is sai??? i know Marcie uses it, and this other girl i follow on dev, does amaaaazing portraits and she uses it for hair and i'm the most jealous ever.... haha xD
