Vote in guys, I am def gonna get ps4 soon. Its cheaper and looking at it seems better, not trying to be biased but if your getting xbox dont be afraid to speak up lol.

Playstation is better off for a couple of reasons only thing that xbox has is a bit better brightness which makes things look better.
Overall through ps> for me and stat wise

Yes it is. Just because it came out before the rest doesn't mean it's not next-gen. Otherwise we'd still be on the first gen, technically speaking. It may also not be as powerful, but it's still next-gen.

PC way over rated not many exclusives I prefer consoles that don't lag or crash or freeze.
I have an okay pc but I don't want to spend 1,000 plus to get it up and running to play for just a smaller change in lighting in graphics.

I sort-of prefer PC games, as I get to play them AND watch TV.  I don't mind. Console, handheld, or PC. As long as I'm having fun.  

We got 2 free xboxes (one is just the plain black one that we got early, and the other is the special white "I Made This" version) my dad is selling the white one on ebay for 5G (oh he knows it's not worth that much xD ) and he's already gotten a bunch of offers that are around 2G hahaha  

I like the xbox one, i think it's fun... but honestly, i hope they make a new one quick, because there are so many ways it could have been better...
cons to the xbox 1:
- you HAVE to have an internet connection, because people complained and so they made it stupid = if you have a bad connection say goodbye to everything (including playing just normal games)
- No backwards compadability = really no one has an investment in it
- it's expensive
- there are no launch kinect games
-... yeah we know there are a bunch...

pros:
- the controller is pretty shnazy...
- the games are pretty intense, and they do really good head tracking and the kinect is a bajillion times better, so i could feed a giraffe while being covered in blankets and laying on the couch xD
- yeeeaaah... that's about it hahaha

Maybe the PS4 is too expensive for him at the moment? And a Playstation is like... Well, I think of them as base consoles. Like, normal. They don't change that much with each console (Which in this case for me, is... good?).

Arguably, you could say that the Nintendo consoles are the bases. Sony and Microsoft concentrate on other stuff like computers and TVs, so their consoles come out later than Nintendo's sometimes, as Nintendo only focuses on games, consoles, and game and console updates, and the NES was pretty much the first home console. But since their consoles differ sometimes greatly, I don't think that they're a good place to start from.

The first two Playstations were pretty much the same, save for different colours, different console design, different graphics etc, but basically, they were alike. Not sure about the PS3, as I've never tried it.

I like the Playstations. The three consoles I grew up with were the Gamecube, the PS1 and the PS2. And they remain my all-time favourites! Especially the PS2. I had more games than on the PS1, almost all my sister's PS1 games (She had the console before I did) are scratched (Not much, but the music on Spyro 2 goes most of the time). And I didn't rage quit as much as I did on the GCN (Or more specifically, Super Mario Sunshine and Super Monkey Ball).

So I highly recommend getting (Or at least playing) a Playstation. Any PS. ...I've said it before, I'll say it again. This forum is like an online theropy session. :sigh: 

if you wanna know differences between PS2 and 3, then for starters, the Playstation Network launch, digital game stuff, and...graphics, so that's about it, graphics these days aren't really huge jumps like from SNES to PS and to PS2 major

Basically, all I thought, yet forgot about when making that post. I'm not a big fan on digital games much. I mean, sure. If you're playing on the 3DS or PS Vita (Does the Vita have digital games?) when going on holiday and don't have room for your games (Or you feel like not bringing a certain game and them wanting it later), or someone breaks into your house and steals your games, or you simply lost them, then digital games are good. I'm just not a fan of a lot of change, unless it's for the better.

hes selling one for 5g ( 5 grand aka 5,000 USD ) he got offered 2,000.

lol really skype, i gotta computer dont really need a xbox. and anyone can buy a great mic for ps4 or ps3 or xbox 360 or pc

What if your computer doesn't support Skype? I don't mean not turning on, but I mean if you have something like my old computer? Steve always used to freeze, crash, lag, or lose connection when on Skype.

idk oliver, my computer sucks and i can run lots of programs like that skype isnt even such a big program, it doesnt destroy ur comp barely at all. 
games like fusionfall seem to do it. makes my comp slow ( my comp really sucks so if it can run skype but barely fusionfall then ya know.. )
anyway, microsoft did a really dumb move, when you first get xbox one, you need online for a update if you dont get a update you cannot play any game not even offline. and if im not mistakened if you do not pay for online you cannot play single player of any game, or if your not connected to wifi you cannot play

playstation 4 will also have voice command, and eye tracker / head tracker.
 coming in a later patch  / update
ps4 also runs 1080p and 60 fps ( frames per seconds )


specs are also much better, so i dont understand how anyone can go with xbox.
each console has some things that others dont (like games) but ps4 has much much much much more benefits and things and more.

No im sure you can play single player with out getting xbox live... they changed it months ago because they listened to peoples opinions all the poop they where getting from angry fans,people with no internet, sony fans pretending to be interested just to mess up new features. Not all features require online I think you meant multiplayer in any game you can play with your friends or people on the couch next to you but not with people online away from your direct console. Playstation also is making you pay for online multiplayer so get over it, ether way you still have to pay for online.

Yeah, that's why I'd prefer a PS4. Hopefully Microsoft will fix that in the future, either as an update (Oh, wait...), or as a new console. Then again, maybe in their next Xbox, you'd have to own the then-current Windows to use it.

EDIT: I think everyone will agree when I say that voice-command on ANYTHING doesn't work properly. And FPS stands for 'frames per second', not 'frames per minute'.

yeah i wasnt so sure about that since i heard they got fix's of course. but you pay for ps4's online much cheaper. microsoft seems to be very money hungry and isnt doing very smart decisions.
ps4 better specs 1080p and 60fps for cheaper online, seems like a deal for me.

Yes. Another boss also left and made a deal with Nintendo right after the revealing of xbox one. So yea I think im going team Nintendo it does have some pretty cool games that are fun as a barrel of guns.
Now just time to save up and buy something besides the original Nintendo im not much into motion controls but still gonna give em a shot.

Eh, I prefered the Gamecube and first 2 Playstations. Never played on the Genesis. But my sister does have a game on the GCN called 'Sonic: Mega Collection'. It has the Sonic games from the 90s. All of them! Some I think you have to unlock. My favourite was always Sonic 3D: Flickies' Island.

I used to play it a lot as a kid, and 'SEGAAAAAA' bit would bring back so much nostalgia! :moon: Yeah, I'm thinking this forum needs a 'Therapy' section.
