| I'd like to hear everyone's opinion on this. I have some questions:
- How important is it to you to see Fusion Fall Recreated? - What would you like to see in this game? - Would you want it to be Web-based or an Application (.exe)? - If you wish for Fusion Fall to be recreated, can you contribute?

| To me, it's between very important, and just important. I'd still like to see some type of memorial to the 7 Legends in-game. Maybe in Hero Square. Holograms of 5 of the members, and statues of X and Hom where the book was usually found. Or X and Slim. That, and more areas and NPCs. And maybe something like the Slider that goes from the Monkey Foothills to the Darklands. Which would mean having to somehow connect the two maps together. And more lvl 30+ stuff. I wouldn't mind which type it's in. App or web. Maybe both? As for contributing, I think I am right now. I'm like the art and idea guy here. |

* As far as I know, only 20% of the map objects are in anyone's possession. But I have tons of Unity assets that can be used to make new maps. Hey! Welcome back. Well, to me (and consider, I'm busy with college -- not university, the thing before it.) I'm not desperate to see FF recreated in some way but it would definitely be cool. It's only because of the lack of time I have to do much of anything in any given week. I'd like to maybe see some of our original characters in the game. Really, I'd just like to see more of FusionFall so, the NPCs, newer NPCs, etc. I don't think anyone is really that fussy, as long as it's playable and has some sort of replay value. (It would have to be preferably online/multiplayer of course and have something decent to do but walking around is a starting point that no decent person would complain about in the early stages of development.) I guess it would be cool to incorporate stories into the game from ones we've made in the forum. I've thought of a universe where the SACT are corrupted and my character XLR8 147, is later the leader of an organisation called the Xtremists but we won't go into detail of that, there's plenty of time for that. As well as other people's stories, characters and other fictional universe ideas. I've seen tonnes of game ideas suggested here on the forum but they're way too complex for the moment at least. (Including fusion zombie survival mode! ) I'd prefer to have a client/application/.exe game but I wouldn't mind a browser version much. I mostly prefer client because I would think maybe it would run the game better but I could be wrong. If I had all the time in the world, I seriously would start contributing: -story/dialogue ideas -making maps -making textures -making 3D models -animation (if I learn how to properly loop animations and export them into Unity properly) -designing GUIs if need be (if I can figure out how to actually add them on screen) -promotional art -heck even soundtrack music. (I've messed around with a virtual keyboard and have made my own prototype mini-soundtrack for SACT and it sounds kinda intimidating. But it's only a prototype. I'm not great/fast at making music but there are times when my spontaneity delivers something decent.) But because of education, I can't risk diverting time on this. Sorry. I'm sure there are others that could help though. In regards to lacking assets and maps and stuff, don't worry too much. Decent players won't mind that we have only a chunk of the game to work with. Plus we could make new maps. (It's actually not that difficult. :)HD texturing of maps is more my problem currently.) And I've ripped a LOT of stuff from FusionFall. I can't say I've ripped the entire game but I think I have a pretty nice chunk of it. (My memory doesn't always serve me well but I think one day before the game's closure, I was desperate enough to start going on a map-wide 3D ripping spree.) I've got almost 8.8 GB of ripped FusionFall data. I know I've ripped at least some of the future Tech Square which was the last place my character ever walked on before the shut down. :moon: The main problem with my collection is, it's very very very unorganised. I've got folders of ripped characters and then I've got folders with random rips probably of maps mostly but I still don't know how to organise almost 9GB worth of data which I can't even see in real time, unless I could somehow do that in Blender but I'm not that experienced in that software. :/ Hope that helps in some way. EDIT: Oliver, I forgot about that statues idea! Yeah, some sort of landmark for certain FusionFall fansites/forums would be especially nice since it marks the existence of dedicated communities. From what I can remember now, there's Xtreme FusionFall, FMHQ, Green Ganon, Fusion Portal, FusionFall.forumotion.net, FusionFall F.L.A.M.E.S., Project R, FusionFall Tag Force and of course Oliver's FusionFall Hints and Tips. EDIT: a first person mode would be interesting... It's easy to implement it but not that easy to make it work properly with the firing mechanisms and stuff but just something to think about. |

| I think my mind just blew a couple of fuses. Lol! Well I wouldn't mind either way but you're right, it would definitely be better with new ideas rather than just duplicating the game. Ya know, back when I had more time, I was messing around with making maps and stuff but the problems I ran into were things like looping a running animation, (properly so that it stops when I stop pressing the w/up arrow key) the proper method for texturing with UV wrapping and making the 3rd person camera actually work properly and look good without being shaky. I tried making a static nano but ... I failed. The nano was hovering far away from the main character until it just abandoned it. Well, I hope you'll still stick around, Hannah, even if you're not productive or even active. You seem like a cool member. I think it would be a good idea if somehow a Unity 'template' project was made. A project that includes the bones of a game. (Including a basic GUI or the one from FF.) Or not. I mean, in my case (I'm more advanced in Unity than most here I would assume but still not that advanced due to my inconsistency; not touching Unity for months - years.) I would firstly need to get a decent 3rd person camera script, find out how to loop my character's animation properly and find an easy way to UV wrap or texture or whatever you want to call it. But I'm sure many here (who are interested in messing around in Unity) would hit those obstacles eventually too. It does the job for a half polished level. But we can do better. | Only 2 people replied, and no one on the site is going to help, they say they will, mostly because they go with the mood. Then after a day or 2 they realize that they're not going to help, before all they had to do was help Wiltilt spread the word and still no one really did anything.
Everyone wants it back but they want someone to bring it back for them.

| I think people are just really busy or just don't know how to do some of this stuff. Or maybe some people are just not interested enough to learn some basics. It's understandable I guess. I can't get around coding because of pure laziness. (And supposed mind compatibility.) |

| What 3D models do you need, Hannah? There's a website with FusionFall ripped models. (I think at least some of the NPCs. ) I'll see if I can find the link. EDIT: found it. http://www.models-resource.com/pc_computer/cartoonnetworkfusionfall/As you know, I've ripped a lot from the game so there's that too. (Though I'm not sure how to properly re-texture the ripped models. I only did it once by trial and error. Still confusing. In Blender I mean.) Custom made 3D models can be made in Blender, Sculpturis Z-brush, 3Ds Max, Autodesk Mudbox, Cinema 4D, even Google Sketchup if you're good enough, etc. Whichever people would want to use, depends on if they want something free and also on personal preference in terms of the interface, features and whether they'd prefer to use a proper 3D modelling software or 3D sculpting software. Also, there may be others of help over at FusionFall Resurrection or FusionFall Project Revive 2.0 or whatever other projects there still may be. Do you know of a good 3rd person script? It's so fundamental. The one I got from an old Unity demo project was not adequate enough. |

| If you want to make your own FF you can't do everything alone guys.You need to make your own ff team including only a members,who's knows atleast one programming language.But my intuition tells me,that most users are children on this site,so there is not a big chance that at least someone from them knows any, but still i believe in you)I'm sorry for such well-known information from captain obvious,but if people are really missing fusionfall,they need to start to make their own game based on the real one,no matter what,it's hard to do,but still it's possible.I heard about Minecraft version,and I do not think that this game will stand on a par with the original one.I played the original game when it was still the future area,then within a year i've returned and had been exploring whole unknown fusionfall map,it was pretty interesting.
I have few good memories with fusionfall,since i was child,i guess this is the most impressive game was for me.So i guess if someone shall breath a life in this game again,it won't be in vain |

| @Hannah, thanks! Much appreciated. In regards to custom made models, well I guess they don't have to be used straight away but we could throw them in later. It's the rigging/animating that takes ages. :/ But the modelling doesn't have to be that great. (Sculpting could save time for those without proper modelling knowledge.) Plus, template models from the internet could provide some solid ground to sculpt or model on. @Kaganui, welcome to the Xtreme FusionFall forum! If you need any help, just ask! Well there's no rush into the fan game development thing but if people do a little every day/week or so often, eventually we'll come up with something decent. Well it's just an idea. |

| Well that is truth,but no one even want to start.That's first. Second.I'm talking to make fff(FusionFallFan) game so closer as you can to the first original fusionfall.Just change the plot,add a lot new functions,graphic stuff.I think people are gonna love it,if someone will make a second fusionfall even better then the first one,but it's important to remain within a framework of the first game.To waft memories xDDDD. | Yeah, I get what you mean, Kaganui. Every little bit of progress helps. If we do make a fan game, we would preferably make it resemble the original but not necessarily be the same. We could add more maps, modify maps and characters, add different game modes/missions, different textures, etc. Do you know how to do anything in the game development process? 3D modelling? Making maps? Coding? Just wondering. |

| Honestly I've been waiting for Eva and Wilt to show up at the group website that Hannah showed me. They haven't made an account there or anything. But Eva's the only one that responded. So...I guess thats something...
I.......I just dont get it. He's the one that came here wanting to find a crew to help him out with the Rebuilding process but I dont get why he hasnt made an account or something yet. I did my absolute best by trying to keep this rebuilding thing in mind and as soon as Hannah showed up and said that she'd be willing to lend a hand (which she still is....which is rather humbling) I acted immediately and let him know about it.
I even Told Tech and another guy from the Resurrection group about it. They guy has experience with building 3D Models and Tech said he does too. I want to tell Jake too as well as a friend of mine about it. Wilt's the one that started this all and yes, it may just be my insecurity about helping efficiently with the little skill that I have, but I feel he and Eva are the second most important piece to this project besides Hannah of course. All three know more about what they're doing more than anyone else that could sign up for the project to help.
But if they're not here or even show up.............I wouldnt EVER feel comfortable asking or expecting Hannah to take all the weight of the project upon herself.
I wish I could help, but all I can do is just spread the word to people that I KNOW that have some skills and wouldnt mind contributing to a project like this........so long as they see some sort of promise that it could be finished. I wouldnt care if they just showed up, made an account or whatever. That would put my mind at ease, letting me know it was okay to get my hopes up and feel that "Hey! This could actually work" and if it didnt then it was given our best effort.
But the main two powerhouses for the project havent even shown up.
I just dont get it.

This is incorrect. You can't just know any language; only a handful are useful in unity. For example, SQL, ASM, Python, would be useless in Unity. Perhaps you should append your statement to: "who knows either C, C++, C# or Java" as these are the most useful languages regarding Unity. - Quote :

| Lol not all at once, you can break it up depending on your connection speed. I guess I'm just used to uploading/downloading large files since my speed is >2MB/s. If you can, I'd like to have a map, the GUI, and a few characters. |

| Hannah, would you be able to work with models that are separated from their textures? (Some may even glitch... well that's my experience in Blender. Not sure if some files are corrupted or not.) I guess I'll start off with a bit of (Future tutorial) Tech Square. (Note to CartoonNetwork: I am only distributing some replicated assets for the purpose of playing around or even possibly making a fan game of which as far as I can assume, will NOT illegally make money off CN copyrighted creative material, etc. Just a bit of creative nostalgic fun. ) Oh and I did use 3DRipper DX, forgot to answer that question earlier. I've heard of GameAssassin (didn't work for me) and Print Screen Via 3D or something like that. (Never tried it.) Obviously I can't say I trust any of these software. But it doesn't matter much now as FF is gone. (Though you could rip stuff from FF Heroes but whatever. Be cautious with downloaded software, use common sense, scan with Virus Total, etc.) Do you need .psh shader files? What about .mtl files? Download contains a .OBJ 3D file rip of Future Tech Square + a few characters and tonnes of ripped textures in a .DDS format. Anyone else is welcomed to play around with the download too if you want. Even if you're not serious with it, have fun! And sorry I don't know how to provide the GUI in an easy to use form. I think it's still technically in there somewhere. (As a texture and a 3D piece or something.) To anyone who doesn't know, you can place the .OBJ files in Blender and I think Unity as well. (Though Unity prefers .FBX but I think you can get a converter for that. Maybe.) Blender is free and the free version of the Unity game engine is pretty good. Password (lower case) for the .rar file is xtremefusionfall http://www.4shared.com/rar/bb9Y7he-ba/Future_Tech_Square_plus_charac.htmlEDIT: Download is about 66mb and after you extract the contents it becomes much larger due to all the texture files.

| @ Hannah . If you know enough about c# try compiling a CFW for the psp or better yet find a kxploit for the vita. The vita and psp are purely built off c#. The guys at wololo.com could make you famous if you find a vita exploit |

| Sorry, my inactivity is usually derived from personal life getting in the way. For about 8 months it's been either work or classes that take up a lot of my free time, and when I have both, it becomes especially difficult to focus on my hobbies rather than those two things, which can get me lost in the muck if I don't check in every once in a while. That said, I'm still interested and certainly want to make something like this a reality, but as Hannah said, sometimes the time really just isn't there for any of us to efficiently use.
I've just joined the group Hannah linked me to and will doing some catch up there. |

Its just that I thought you just kinda up-an'-dissapeared on us.
I started to get a bit manic there. Oh! something else I just thought about: Would you and wilt mind if I gave the wiggio account login to others that might be able to help..............or at least mature enough to not to ask stupid questions and just be a child to begin with.
I can vouch for 90% of the members here would be mature when given exclusive access to the wiggio account. I know XLR8 just might need access reguardless. I was also thinking about letting Magnavox know as well. |

Actually, I want the group to be sort of a "Developer-only" group. Meaning that if you're in the group, you've been confirmed as a trustworthy member and you are contributing to the development of the game. Even if you trust someone, if they aren't helping to develop the game then there's really no point in being in the group since it will be discussion/releasing content. Also, I'll be releasing assets and code when I finish them in the group so if there's someone you don't trust in the group I'd remove them. About my comment earlier about not needing Photoshop skills, I was wrong about that . While most of the existing textures should be there, new textures will have to be created in order to add new content (Improved GUI and textures for different Events). So I'll be needing your help with that later on. |
