I never knew,how people used to change their "common" name to any they wanted to.I have heard that that was possible when future still was on,but since i joined in 2009,i was a newbie at the time and never been bothering about it,just kept explored the game,but now,i'm curious how did players enter their own names,without resorting to a list?I guess there was a name hack,was it?

Well, you used to be able to type your FusionFall name.
(Like I've done with XLR8 147, IRON 147, Player Unbeatable, etc.)

But then came a time when they removed that feature when the game
became free to play. This was probably done to reduce costs by not making
GMs moderate typed names. At the point, you could ONLY use a combination
of supplied names. E.g. names like Blade Xtremestone. (Name combinations that
could be found in the name selector list.)

But after that, people changing their names most likely was done by hacking,
maybe with Cheat Engine.

At first I was kinda sad I couldn't make my own
(hey don't judge, I didn't even know fusionfall existed until it was already free.... but at least it was right when it became free, so there were still some good things at first :Phahaha)

but then Josie gloryangel really grew on me anyways :Phahaha and now she's like my alter ego  

I think fusion fall wouldn't have been shut down if there wasn't chat. Honestly walking into Mt.Blackhead, trading center of the wilds, thats where children proably learned to have a fowl mouth
