Kk so I'm having a hard time thinking about what Oc I draw since I draw my favorites all the time,  which are your favorites? Do you have this problem too? We know bleedman represents himself with

And I know I know you guys mostly use your FF character.  Though, do you imagine your character with something different? Like a different color, a scar, a scarf, ripped areas    or just and entirely new look like Xlr8? 

These are the questions, a wise man once said, when you can't think  just ask and reflect.     

eh, as you said with the FF character, but maybe with a more human-ish look for some kind of future thing   I.E. fixing up the eye a bit, and less bad-boy type clothes (as in, no blindfold, less streety jacket) but keep the wings, they're so wingy, maybe they'd fold down for a half robe or something

why did i think of this now? i don't know, i just got off my lazy butt for once, which reminds me...TO THE WRITING BOARD, AW-on second though, maybe later

Oliver is basically just a smarter and braver version of me. He may also be more mature...

Come to think of it, I don't usually draw X as the 10 - 16 or so year old you used to see in FusionFall.
I guess I just really like the Xtremists story arc more than 7 Legends, origins, etc.

@Undelos, that's interesting. (Your characters having different aspects of your personality.)
I kinda base X off an exaggerated version of my personality with added leadership skills. His gf's look is based on a friend of mine and the Spider-Man character, Gwen Stacy.
I purposely made their relationship near perfect (no arguments, nothing)
just to convey such an unlikely phenomenon and to contrast against other relationships. Perfection is an interesting rarety which I'd like to explore in a fictional universe.

Plus, with X's problems, he needs someone exceptionally supportive.
Is a perfect relationship in the fictional alternate FF universe boring?
I would guess it depends. Maybe one or two arguments are required...I dunno...  

yeah that's pretty much how I went about making the whole Alice and Grumpy thing,  but like X already knows, Alice was someone who I used to know (Real name is different and spanish though so) and I took what we did when we hang out at school or at the park and put it into Alice And Grumpy , except Grumpy's suppose to cover an eye with his hair. I thought the whole Zombie raven thing was cool so I took that and made it apart of her (new drawing I didn't scan yet) Alice is supposed to be the strong and silent girl people avoid, meanwhile Grumpy is the one who always seems bored and does anything to make things fun, be it help someone, make things, prank someone,  or try to get to know people who don't want to be talked to.  




Not a lot of people talk about these things anymore though, and people who played ff just thought of their character as a character they played.

I would get into the story of why, but you would be sitting here forever and ever trying to figure out just what I'm talking about. So, simply put...

Zoe is me, but at the same time she's not. She represents every part of me, well, the new me that is. Started a new life a little before I made her, so she is that me that existed when I started over. Shy, nervous, jumpy, yet exciting, crazy, fun, energetic and friendly/sociable all at the same time.

Weird concept to be completely honest with you. Not even I understand it sometimes.

Plus, Zoe is Zoe, and Zoe is me.

I kept looking at the characters as drawing potential only this past few weeks, but now I opened my eyes.

I do. Its actually a challenge for me; a new skill rather.

I was accustomed to only drawing older people. It wasnt until I picked up drawing Dexter did I realize I had to learn the fundamentals of drawing smaller/shorter characters.

Not only that, I've noticed that alot of artists in w101 like to draw their character FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR older than their character is and it always leaves me shaking my head. You log in and see your character as this young 13 possibly 14 year old.........but usually draw him to be 20 - 22???

To tell you the truth, making characters based on a fraction of your personality helps IMMENSELY when writing their character.

You'll know how they would respond to any given situation and you dont have to worry about "Ouhnoez! what would he do in this situation!!!"

Nopez. Being a part of your personality, You'll know what they would do.

You're right. It does depend. They cant be sappy "perfect" couples. I cant describe the kind right now but every one knows the kind. But it is okay to be completely understanding and supportive.

but at the end of the day, I just think my comic page looks bad so it gets scrapped.

that's why I wrote fanfics, that was sort of like scripting but I never got around to making a script for something.
