Found out about this on tumblr.
Yeah.
So apparently THIS is now happening. 
Super Secret Crisis War! is a six-issue mini-series, but in proper comic book "event" fashion, there will be plenty of crossovers and tie-in issues, as well! Super Secret Crisis War! #1 hits in June, and will be followed by a multiverse of one-shots, including Cow and Chicken and Codename: Kids Next Door. There's a full list below, and it's impressive. C'mon, folks...when comics do this, they never limit it to one core title or just a handful of titles, so why should the Cartoon Network crew be any different?
And yus. I know its not exactly fusionfall. It obviously has a different plot an' all. However, it shows the fact that they obviously still want to capitalize on the whole "throw all the CN characters together for one big fantastical story" idea.
Just peeved that they had to destroy the original concept though.
