Well, actually the overly-patriotic thing is my opinion. I mean, sure, the US is a great country, but it's not THAT great. A country on Mars probably would've been better if the planet had copied Earth's gravitational field and kept it's atmosphere.

But yeah, the stereotypical American is pretty much Texan. My dad went to Texas once. I think he was working for NASA at the time.  Doesn't put me off wanting to visit America sometime. The only thing keeping me is the weather. I mean, Lanzarote's heat is fine, but if God really loved America, would he really put it in the path of tornadoes and hurricanes?

Guess you can't blame him. He's God. We're probably just the prototypes in this little universe. 

EDIT: Speaking of the US, we have ABC News here at 1:30 am. I'm just wondering why. It's pretty much the same as our news, only with American accents and ways to survive freak weather that we don't ever get here (And floods). Still, it's a way to fill 30 minutes, I suppose.

Crumpets are piff when crispy but you gotta ge them just right so they also aint rubbery.
