| Nico before:  after:  Calypso before:  after:  Piper:  so i'm not fishing for compliments... Here are my reasons i can't draw fanart: 1. I'm still not good at poses -- this means that i can't draw it exactly how i imagine it... the people tend to be in simple poses. Things don't flow as well as i hope they would. 2. Proportion -- look at nico for example... his head is too big for his body. His hands aren't very good... i think this originated with me trying to combine too many styles... i always kinda aim for something like viria13... but i also aim for budge-bug witch is more my style... 3. It's simply not what i want -- take a look at calypso... she's hot right? Haha i really like this picture, but it's nothing like what i wanted... i was aiming for more of an innocent girl look, with a flowy simple white dress... that's not how you would describe the result right? I mean she's fine, but just not... good enough... i dunno.... -- now look at nico... i was trying to show so many emotions at once, it didn't turn out... i really wanted to try to show how he was so young... everyone treats him like he's 15/16 , but he's still 13, i know that's not a huuge gap, but mentally it can be... he is still young, but he's been forced to grow up and see too much darkness everyone forgets that he still can be small and scared sometimes... by his feet are mythomagic cards... a game he played when he was younger... but they're all scattered and his hand is in a fist and he has his dark ring on... to show how he's changed (i'm not happy with the hand.. but whatever...) .... but instead of all that, he just looks like my sisters cagefighting-ex-boyfriend haha -- Piper isn't too bad... but i pictures her more lively and more cartoony... kinda with her head tilted with a big smile and colorful eyes. Since she's a daughter of Aphrodite, she radiates beauty, but she's still a go-getter and can be kinda tom-boyish and silly too.... the picture is just too formal... i don't like it.... So there you have it xP It always work better if i just start doodling and THEN turn it into a character... Which i guess is what i've learned from this xP Oh well!

| Lol didn't you read the post? XD It's not that they're horrible... But they're just not great... But either way... I'm still in love with a depressed 13 year old and a 15 year old in love with a goddess :\ And both of them don't even know i exist >.< Fangirlproblems *sigh* Really i just need to read another book so i can be in love with someone else... But i plan on rereading catcher in the rye.... And that's about a guy who basically hates everyone and everything.... .... and yet he's still like my ultimate twin, the book basically is filled with thoughts i've had... i love it xD And then, I'll read my book by the guy who wrote maze runner, which is SIGNED! It's called the "eye of minds" and it's about video games  Then i'll read allegiant (third book in divergent series) Then unravel me... And then legend... And then i will scour the world to find the barnes and noble giftcard i lost... And then i will buy MORE books!!! |

| @Undy It's from the Heroes of Olympus (which is the second series of Percy Jackson books) This series includes more characters, but also the ones from the original series. Plus, as always, it includes the modern Greek gods and goddesses And thanks so much! I'm pretty proud considering i never color with colored pencils.. And i never outlined my stuff either.. it looks nice  I also drew nico so i'll post that tomorrow  @Marcy Lol oh, if you read the book, you'd know that she and percy are the ultimate sass masters xD Then leo is a close second xD Lol what didn't you expect? @Cody D'awww shucks :3 Well, you're not the only one who needs practice... | @Undy Yeah same! I saw the first movie before i ever read the books (never saw the second one though xD ) I think greek mythology is awesome! Plus, the new series also has a lot of roman mythology and it's pretty intense, Since the gods are the same, But they have different personalities and names xD Oh and HEEEEEEEEEERE'S NICO!!! he's sitting and mcdonalds :3 his favorite place xD |
