I'm so DONE with casting failures its pitiful.

I am SO DONE.

I bet its the stupid "fizzle" mechanic that is the reason why most quit, besides the boredom that sets in when repetitively dueling.
SERIOUSLY. This game, that was aimed at kids, makes it hard for ADULTS to even progress. AND YOU DONT EVEN FAIL DUE TO YOUR LACK OF SKILLS!!!

any time you cast a card, unless it says 100%, it has a chance of failing.

AND IVE HAD IT FAIL DURING VEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRY important parts of fighting! I've NEVER RAGE QUIT playing Fusionfall. Only rage quitted ONCE playing Dn since your characters like to lie there and stare at the sky once they've been hit.

But w101!!!

This makes the forth or fifth time!


I have been feeling REALLY aprehensive on playing any new missions from higher ranked areas and I couldnt understand why. Figured out a while ago its because not only do the monsters double team you now, you cant gurantee you'll come out of the battle alive (let alone enraged), cant go in there with a solid strategy or anything.

defenders of this ## would say, "you just done understand, its supposed to add a bit of difficulty".
Eh. No.

Pokemon.......you dont fail at making moves........nor do you at Magic.......Yu-Gi-Oh!.......or even frikin Blackjack. I mean, you may do............but its no where near THIS RAGE INDUCING. I AM A LEVEL 29 FOR CHRIPES SAKE! I HAVE TAKEN ALOT OF ## FROM MONSTERS TO GET THIS FAR. I deserve to at least have my level and efforts respected by not FAILING SO MUCH AT STANDARD FIGHTS!
And dont get me started on the street fights. Each one is like its own mini boss. they take TOO FLIPIN LONG and each one is a fight to the death.


And to finally top it all off............they say it only gets harder.



IVE HAD IT. Im done.
I dont wanna play this game again for a very long time.

Gonna go back to Dn, where if I fail..............at least 98% was due to my lack of skill.................and not some retarted combat mechanic.

So... all those crowns for nothing. Well, if I ever do go back, that means I'll be able to help you out if you do, too. Right now, I'm sticking with ToonTown Rewritten. Sure, same mechanics, pretty much, but still.

Haha yeah i stopped thinking it was a kids game once i saw that you had to use intellect to keep going in the game. Its extremely difficult tbh  I havent played in a while but if you or anyone wants me to come thru to play a few games i gotcha

Oh yeah. the difficulty in this game is reDUMBculous.  

Its made for kids.......but the difficulty is enough to make hardcore WoW players ragequit everyso often. I think I'm gonna leave Wysteria alone for a while......

Met someone just 2 days ago that had Open Chat.
It was as though heaven itself opened up to me! I annoyed the pjeebus out of her in a cool way and she snapped right back at me.(playfully of course) we became friends later.

Ah yes... Crab Alley... That's not hard, just a little long. Then again, I was in a group for the second half.  

Try and level up and get better spells. For me that was always the way to progress. Finish those boring sidequests and get the XP. It may be worth ti for you in the longrun.

For goodness sake just friend me and I'll help you with whatever mission you need help with. Fizzles can be countered btw, you just need gear that gives you accuracy or there are spell quests from your teaches that give you a spell that you cast and it forms the shape a blade would and gives you 10+ accuracy etc. I know why you are frustrated with this game because storm can have it pretty bad too. Trust me though fizzles are a lot less annoying at higher levels. It sucks being the only one on this forum who plays this game.

I've been playing it too. Way too much actually.

Its to the point I cant tear myself away so its slowly driving me insane.
I cant finish any art work. I have so many concepts to finish and ideas to put down BUT I CANT.........I made the mistake of getting my two cousins in it SO NOW THEY ALWAYS WANT THE HELP OF A LVL 30 WIZARD ALL THA TIME........

I cant stop. I have so much work to do........BUT IT KEEPS ENTERING MY LIFE! This past week was nothing but playing it until 3 in the morning! I cant make it stop! Its not even that good! Why does this keep happening to me?! It even distracts me from getting  on here!

ERMAGERD MAKE IT STOP!


P.S: if anyone has been wondering where i've been lately.......IVE BEEN THERE! WASTING SO MUCH TIME AWAY LOGGED IN!

If that's how you feel then uninstall wizard101. please stop ranting about it and delete it or let me give you in game advice. whatever you need i'm here...

In FF, excluding leveling up,
it was mostly socialising or waiting for a boss monster to spawn

EDIT: BTW there was a kind of atmosphere playing at
2am in the holidays (don't remember which holiday)
and I assume it was about 5 hours back for some parts of the American
continent thus about 9pm.
If I remember back to it, it 'felt' like it was night in game despite the day/evening
style skybox at where Don Doom spawns.
Memory and nostalgia, eh?   

FusionFall would've made me do the same, probably. 

EDIT: And X, you're thinking of the Halloween event of 2009. When Dracula and the Holo-Suits first appeared, the sky turned dark, Fusion Matter turned orange, every monster shot pumpkins instead of just the ones in the western Suburbs, and the music was changed to that of the Nowhere Triangle.

It was just that the normal FF day time sky box didn't stop me
from *feeling* as if it was night time in game because it was so late.
I think there were less players on. It was kinda eerie.

I remember back on the old FF forums that someone suggested having a day/night system. Some of the ideas on those forums were just brilliant.
