| I think i've kinda started to notice something....
I was looking up some pictures of MegasXLR and its characters and something on the wiki struck me:
"This is a great show that unfortunately came to an early end after only about a year on the air"
And then I had noticed..........the next show I had to look up ended far before it should have too.
I would like to take this moment to recognize shows I never got to see or ended too early:Sym-biotic Titan
The life and times of Juniper Lee
MegasXLR
Generator Rex
And this next part is for all the awesome shows that I cant think about or barely even heard of because they were canceled all too soon before I could discover their amazingness.
Why is it that some shows get canceled and others dont? This is a retorical question by the way........which means I DO know the answer to it..........
.........its just the impulse to ask WHY they have to get canceled. Sym-biotic titan had a GORGEOUS ANIMATION STYLE. It had a retro look to it....but there were times when that framerate kicked in and it became a Miazaki movie for about 5 seconds. Stunning quality from a stunning director.
Dont get me started on Titan's concept. A mech with a tough, yet transparent hull?! Are you flipin kidding me!? Tartakovosky is like the grand patron of great Ideas.
But,
Yet an still. They all got the axe.The ProblemCable.
Pure and simple.
Just the business of it is just awful. They have a quota to make, sales to keep, and if a show............for WHATEVER REASON, does not fit into their agenda, they axe it out.
people have been becoming more independent of cable year after year to the point that stardom has even started on the internet and CAME to cable. The same process has happened to Gaming as well. The entire Genre of Indie (Independent) Gaming is simply random people like you or me having an Idea they would want in a game and doing what they need to do to make it happen.
This is what I hope for the future of cartoons.
I remember Pendelton's first episode of Adventure time when it was still a webseries. He obviously gained enough ground and fandom to have his series support itself. I think if more creative individuals turned to making their own creations apart from "Its just business" corporations, they'll most likely see their series stay around, never be sold out, and become an entity of its own.
If only Generator Rex and Sym-biotic titan were just webseries.
Dude. I would be broke from sending support money. |

| When I saw the title, I was going to suggest Sym-Bionic Titan. But you beat me to it. Unfortunately, Tartakovsky didn't want a toy deal, and thus the show was cancelled.
Sometimes I think that he did the right thing. It's like the Doctor on the last day of the Time War. Genndy was the Doctor on the day it wasn't possible to get it right. And there are times where I think that his choice was just wrong.
I mean, I'd love a Sym-Bionic Titan video game! Same with Megas XLR. If they ever had a game, there should've been a controller that came with it that came with a Game Boy, one of those steering wheels, etc.
Not real Game Boys, of course. A normal controller in the shape of one. *sigh* I miss those shows. I don't think Generator Rex ended that early. It lived for a good few years and seasons, even having it's own game. I'm not sure how it would work without the EVOs. |

| Nah, I think it was Ed, Edd n Eddy's time to go. It already lasted for 10 years. Any longer and it would probably have developed what I call Spongetitus. Underfist would be a good example. |

| Bo, Fort Awesome is very understandable, most everyone hated it in fact, it was perhaps the Network's biggest failure besides Problem Solvers and some show called Mulin Warriors |

| you know, they only aired 2 episodes of it, and it got just so much hate that it kinda deserves a spot there frankly, i'm surprised they even gave Mr. Browngardt another chance |

Yeah... Though I heard multiple rumours about a Samurai Jack movie. I doubt any of them are true, but would be awesome if they are. |

| that movie has been talked about since the last episode where Jack and Aku fight fairly, it's been canceled and dug back up so many times it's ridiculous soon they'll be changing it's name to Samurai Jack Forever |
