Firstly Undelos when are you free?  
So I was thinking we should start a new FusionFall art contest.
Someone suggests an image or sentence and different people
draw their interpretation of it, with rules perhaps.

Or is everyone too tired to draw?  
Well I'm just trying to make everyone a little less bored.
And we haven't had a contest in a long while.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllll...

We should vote on a song.
We could have a list of songs, and everyone,
Even if they're not in the competition,
Could vote...

Then,
We must draw/paint/sculpt
(seriously everyone is just gonna draw right?)
Oor we could also include the writers,
And they could just write anything that comes into their mind while they listen
(but you could only have one entry so pick your medium wisely)


But depending on how well we want it to be,
If we don't mind them being a little rough,
It could just be a week or two
(actually that would be too rough especially since it's summer for most of us
But i'd check with our southern friends if it's alright for them)

The song thing is cool because then it'll be different,
But weirdly connected...

Or is it too complicated?
I guess then it wouldn't be ff related

Well if you played me a song,
I might visualise HD superhero movie scenes
but if you asked me to think something FF,
I'd probably start with that and the music would build it up.
Not sure this would happen to everyone.
When listening to music, I can switch between different scenarios to
visualise.
Like if I was listening to a heavy metal song, I could imagine
either my FF character annihilating the S.A.C.T. (without killing) or
my superhero idea could involve a superhero dashing to save someone and getting hit over the head with
a car, get up and then stuff gets serious.  
To be honest X and my superhero idea can be interchangeable most of the time
even though they're very different characters.

So I think it's a good idea but what if the song is terrible to
some people and awesome to others?
Maybe a video instead? Or one of Grumpy's AMVs.
I don't know really. It's not a big deal.
Another idea is just everyone picks their own song and uses that to make an FF drawing.   

well if everyone chose different songs there would be now point...

well i mean, generally,
i'm not a heavy metal,
country,
or rap fan..

but see, we'd hold a vote with AAAAALLLLLLL different kinds of music xD
then the winning one, will be the winning one...

and see the point is that,
with the one saw,
we could see how it affected each person...

one person could really like metal and be like "immune" to it in a way,
and so their picture would be relaxed...

while if i drew to a heavy metal song it would be angry and stuff,
cuz heavy metal doesn't relax me...


and of course,
i think everyone imagines stuff while they listen to music...

for example i have a song that reminds me of oliver,
because it's the song that i still need to draw my little story to that was inspired by the O man  

other songs just make me wanna party

hahaha but if we had a song, and a topic...
like the topic could be an ff character, or a place in the game..

that would keep everyone on the ff track..

but see this will give people more freedom,
so you can kinda judge on creativity as well as the actual way it looks
  

i always want to make a competition like this, but i always forget xD


music has the capability to move people.
plus it can be played on repeat so it can seep into your brain as you think of things

a video would get annoying after the 7th time hahaha

but the voting is the biggest part, we couldn't just choose a random song...

plus the spectrum is huuuge!
dancy, rocky, mellow, calm, thoughtful, inspiring, rebellious, dangerous, wild, peaceful, loving, happy, sad, angry, depressed, exciting...
and saucy

lol well whatever everyone decides to do I'm game. Just finished drawing something to warm up ( in a sitting pose so take that jordan   )  and yeah obviously mine's gonna have a FF girl when we pick the theme

Then there's the collab Glory suggested the 3 of us do last year before Halloween, which we never even started.

There doesn't need to actually be a prize.
Most contests should just be for fun.  
I have a few Muse songs I like too.  
Anyway I might contribute too but I won't be
an official entry, so I can't officially 'win'. (But of course comments would be welcome as usual.)

And we should encourage those who don't draw that much
to give it another go too and not worry about
the serious competition of the art titans
known as Undelos, Grumpy, Oliver, Glory, and some other frequent artists....
(lol I think if you draw more often than me, you're probably considered an art titan... I dunno...
all I know is, I don't qualify.  )
