Subject: Sorry for my absence / Forgot to mention this Dexter pic I made Mon Jun 30, 2014 3:57 am
Cant believe I'm the one to make this post now.
But anyways, Sorry for the absences. Been holding off on coming until I had something of substance to share.......since I know only a couple of you play w101 (annoying game at alot of times...........but it does its job at timewasting. ) and dont want to hear me rave and rant about every little thing that happens in it.
Summary of what I'm doing right now:
- Currently HeatSetting/ironing Tech's FusionSpawn shirt. (wasted ALOOOOOOOT of paint on it. ooops. )
- Attempting to finish coloring that one............um......oh yeah. I dont think I uploaded it here due to reasons:
Currently coloring this with my Phone. (Unbeknownst to popular belief........with the program I'm using and my stylus....it is FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR more effective to use this method because it literally turns my phone into a drawing tablet on the go. )
Saying that will NEVER get old.
AND TO CLARIFY SOMETHING BEFORE I FORGET THAT HAS BEEN BOTHERING ME FOREVER............It is NOT the fact that I LIKE Dexter.
Its the fact that I like the endless potential and possibilities with his character development.
It wasnt until I got into FusionFall.........that I got into the want to draw human characters. Once I did, I realized, I really like the anime style due to the varying hair styles, eyes that tell alot about the character, and the unorthodox color choices and Detail that comes with the finished Idea.
After realizing that, I wanted to get better at it by increasing my knowledge on where to add more detail to make it better (e.g: more detail to the hair, clothes etc.)
But when that hit..........I found myself into Character development.
AND I LOVE IT!
I love designing new characters, what they would wear, what their hair would look like, If I could make an already recognized character.......slightly different but still recognizable as that character. I like designing outfits, dark versions of that same out fit.....dark versions of that specific character........or anything else I didnt think about.
Take for instance Ben Tennyson.
We know what he looks like. We know what his abilities are. We know what his likes and dislikes are.........who his friends are.........what his tolerances are......what he likes to do in his free time......what he would most likely do in a particular situation.
There's no guess work...........nor any room for "What If's".
Dex, however, Comes from a show that had long been canceled and most people have most likely forgotten all about the details of his person.
On the surface, he just seems like a super genius kid that hates having his sister mess up his experiments. Unless I'm mistaken, I think FusionFall did him a slight disservice by having him portrayed as the "always do right" hero with the master plan. Granted yes, I know that there is a war going on and differences need to be put to the side......but Dex had a very obviously low tolerance level for things that annoyed him. He may have grown up alot since his debut but during those times, he was LITERALLY........ALMOST.....no better than Mandark. Not only that, yeah his lab coat was his PREFERRED choice of wear...........but he was NEVER above wearing something else.
Not sure how many really remember that actually.
He has all of this personality to build on and adapt for a new audience.
So, I just figure it was just fun to make some concept Ideas of "What if he rebuilt his robot" or "What if he actually did more with his Dexstar concept, what would it look like"? Ya know, just out of curiousity.
So THAT'S why I do it still. You would not believe how many times my family has asked me, "who is that?" "Is that Dexter again?" "Why do you like drawing Dexter so much?"
. . . . .
- Gonna use this pic along with a few others to put together this T-shirt design for anyone to buy. The design on the shirt will NOT be put on there by me but instead a family friend.
This should give a professional Quality that I cannot, thereby allowing the graphic to last longer.

Awesome drawing as usual Undelos. But yes, why is it always Dexter? (Lol)
Ahh, so that's why I didn't care that much for FusionFall's version of Dexter; I thought it was just the fact he was older or looked a lot different but it seems to have also been that his clothes were different as well as his personality. Thus I favoured Tennyson despite not knowing as much about him as I do of Dexter....BBBBBOOOOY GEEEEENIUS. Remembering back to the cartoons, some episodes had really stupid stuff I remember being uncomfortable watching (13+ stuff) but despite that, it was a very solid cartoon and one of the great classics.
BTW, I thought I didn't know how to spell Fahrenheit but I just typed and guessed in Google and no error! Yay me. Ironically I spelt Celsius as CelCius. My subconscious is such a troll. Usually I'd say CELSIUS FOR THE WIN!!! But now I'm not sure....I never use Kelvin but it's a science thing to use it so I'ma stop being biased. But seriously Celsius...

HA! I saw this picture a long time ago
You posted it on dev right? I always thought it was colored, But maybe they all jumbled in my head
I get what your saying, The more possibilities with a character is more exciting.. I never really paid much attention to the plot, But i did like how they looked, How the older cartoons had aged, While the newer ones still looked the same, Like time really had passed...
I dunno, I think because my style is so different, It's hard to draw things and have people know what they are... It seems like people in the art world are so accustomed to seeing more anime-esque styles, That they don't really know what to think of the style i draw, Because it's cartoony, but not realistic either
And oh man kelvin is awesome! We used it last school year and i kinda liked it, But it's only nice with Celsius... Fahrenheit just takes what it wants...
But i mean, guys... who's flag is on the moon

I'm JUST supersaiyin but some claim the U.S. Moon landings were a hoax. Dang it, I should have put spoilers.... Put your hand up if I smashed your dreams? *Le America*: *Guns in the air* (Lol sorry stupid American stereotype, I don't mean it you guise!) Britain: "We knew it was fake all along" Russia: "We knew too....why do you think we never went there ourselves?" NASA: *Closes Space program.* (Again stupid joke...)
But seriously, there's a reasonable argument about this, including stuff like radiation 'Moon beams' killing astronauts if they really went there, gravity being much lower than what was shown on film (it was just like they were hopping), the lack of stars in the night sky, the markings on the rocks (indicating a production or edit I think) the flag waving despite no air, I'm sure there are lots of documentaries about it. I can't say for certain if it was a hoax or not but whatever, especially since who knows how advanced technology was back then. The government lies and hides TONNES of stuff.
And I don't really like U.K. vs U.S. debates because they're both awesome places. But I'd still rather live here. (Fluoridated tap water in the U.S. is a reason enough alone!) Next stop, Sweden! But yeah, America to me is a new country, one that's stolen and claims not to be British (it technically is, as well as Danish, German, etc. etc.) and there really is no elitism by country. We're all average lol...Anything else is robbery. (Or exceptional culture.) But I won't go into that, I hardly trust most governments let alone the U.S.' government! BTW I hated the Assassin's Creed 3 trailer, they made it SOOOOO American and biased, killing the British soldiers and acting like it was the 'right side'. Neither side was right, though I'd probably just stay in England with the monarchy if I lived back then. War is never right. It's just a means to an end by irrational people to kill other irrational people. And yes I am against the use of guns (that gun law argument in the U.S.) and I am against the death penalty. I saw a documentary about the death penalty... it opened my eyes. There was a team of lawyers or something appealing/defending a criminal, (MURDERER) I was like "WHAT??? YOU STUPID WOMAN! THAT MAN DIED 'CAUSE OF THAT IDIOT!" But then I was like... "I'm a monster....this is the death penalty we're talking about, one death does not solve another...." Plus the 'wrong one' might be convicted and their families would be affected, mental disorders may affect their free will, blah blah. So keep an open mind, just sayin'. Off topic post is off topic.
EDIT: BTW I forgot to say that I know most countries (not entirely, only by some individuals) have been pretty far away from just and angelic. So many countries have been at war. Some may say soldiers are evil and some say they're only doing what's better for good people. It depends on the context.

The ranting jordan is ranting...:
Well x, I fully do believe that we made it too the moon, America used to be a great country, We've just managed to go downhill, And it will only get worse...
The flag is waving because there is wire in it to make it look like it's waving. I fully believed it happened, We had the technology so why not do it?
Plus isn't russia or someone taking 8 trained volunteers to live on mars? I'm pretty sure they're still prepping, but since it's so long of a trip it's only going to be a one way journey... I think that could happen too
I know many people believe it's false, but people also believe 9/11 was a hoax. They say it was planned to bring our country together, which it did, for a little while, For a moment there was the sense of a america that used to be there...
People also say that hurricane katrina was a hoax. Now tell me. How could a hurricane be a hoax?
People say lots of things. And i mean there are some things i fully believe are conspiracy. I think the world is turning evil and there is nothing we can do about it, But there are some things that do remain good in the world...
And i'm not saying england is bad, During the time of the revolution, British people were being more heavily taxed than americans But that wasn't the problem. There was no one to represent us... If there were representatives for the colonies, i'm sure they wouldn't complain, But i'm not saying we didn't mess up either.
The colonists did horrible things to the british and that is very sad
But i just think, in the end, as horrible as this country, and the world, is becoming, I'm just going to have to keep my life good. It inspires me to try all the harder. But all in all, i can't complain, because even though there are ## things happening now, America is still better than many of the other countries filled with poverty.
I, being the 'murican that i am, support keeping guns. honestly, The people who kill people with guns aren't abiding the law anyways, So what makes you think disarming the GOOD people will help anything?
I'm sure america will split soon. Beliefs are wavering too much. People are gaining too much control. Everything is about equal result rather than equal opportunity.
I don't care if you want for money, but raising minimum wage to 15 an hour is just going to make less people get jobs and will make everything more expensive.
I guess what this long post is trying to say: America sucks. But i sure as cuss won't accept people trying to tear down the parts that are actually Good about this country. I mean everyone's allowed there opinion of course, Because it is interesting, But not everything is bad about it...
You know x, i'm suprised we don't talk more often, seems like we'd get along mighty fine

First off, of course the Moon thing actually happened! It has been hanging in the sky for too long! It has gained a massive tactical advantage!
Secondly, I'm not sure if you mentioned Mars (Goldfish memory, goldfish attention span), but it's good we haven't fully reached there yet. Because...

Wire....making flag move..... Mythbuster's excuse was something else, not entirely convincing either. But then again, I don't trust their make shift way of doing experiments, they're a T.V. show for goodness sake! And they totally wouldn't be allowed to say it was a hoax because (possibly the government or NASA would sue or do some other thing... and because) it might upset American viewers and may be seen as anti-patriotic, I dunno. For me, Moon landings, (if real) whatever country, is a giant leap for humankind, not for one country. But of course, the country that do it should be proud. And technology back then.....well we have more advanced technology now, why not do this stuff now? Or was everyone richer back then?

Lol not every conspiracy theory is as silly as that. But you gotta keep an open mind. I think we as humans have come up with things like compounds that make clouds rain whenever we want... Even so, it's just a theory (I never heard of it...I thought it was just global warming's fault )
Gloryangel wrote:
America is still better than many of the other countries filled with poverty.
Well yeah it would be terrible to live a deprived life in a poverty-struck country but even in the U.S. there are many cases of poverty, as is in the U.K. and other 'well off' countries. Also, a country's money (whether hard earned or stolen, bullied or scammed) doesn't equal how good a country is overall. I'm not saying America stole all their money (though I'm pretty sure some have, like with the oil wars...sadly well you know, if it's true...)
Gloryangel wrote:
The people who kill people with guns aren't abiding the law anyways, So what makes you think disarming the GOOD people will help anything?
Well if you take guns off the shelves (I know I know bad business but who cares? Life over money, baby!) then no one would have access. I say keep it all for the military but then again, it's really difficult to get ALL guns away from people. I say we wouldn't have had this problem if guns weren't sold in the first place but it's kinda too late now, I don't know what to suggest given the fairly irreversible circumstances.
Did I say something offensive? Either way, what if it was a hoax? Moon landing doesn't equal America. There's still plenty of other good things about it. I'm not saying the entire government is bad, but there must be some bad eggs in there somewhere. A bit confused about what you wrote, are you saying I hate America or that I'm attempting to suggest the U.S. Moon landings may have been a hoax? Lol I don't hate America! I hate certain systems in there. There's corruption everywhere. Spider-Man came from America, now you tell me how I could ever hate on America? But seriously, the fluoridated water thing is messed up.

Aw man, now that reminds me of Britain's Beagle 2 mission. It lost its signal. Now it's up to America's Rover. (Or is that finished? I've not kept up to date on this stuff.) I wonder what other countries are doing. (But money is a problem these days.) wow we talk alot... we should have our own show...:
"Wire....making flag move..... For me, Moon landings, (if real) whatever country, is a giant leap for humankind, not for one country. But of course, the country that do it should be proud. And technology back then.....well we have more advanced technology now, why not do this stuff now? Or was everyone richer back then? "
It doesn't move, the wire is stuck in the flag to make it look like it was moving. In the original broadcast of the landing they even show Armstrong bending the wire
And of course, thats the whole 'giant leap for mankind' thing was, at least in my opinion. I viewed that quote to mean that at that time, they imagined it would start a whole new look at things. If i lived then i'm sure i would have imagined that the one thing we did, would be able to influence other countries to do the same. I don't know why more people didn't do it, but my reasoning for why we don't do it now: I think, everyone has actually gotten dumber, and the few people who are left that are smart, are smart enough to realize that there time and efforts could be spent else where. Plus there's no money in space... cancer is where the money is at. I'm sure people are working on a cure, but at the moment, without it, people are making bank... Maybe i just have a very depressing view of the world hahahaha
Yeah that hurricane katrina is silly, and i do agree, i do believe in some conspiracies, because like i said, i do kinda have a depressing view of the world... but i mean there are some that are outlandish, so you never really know haha
"Well yeah it would be terrible to live a deprived life in a poverty-struck country but even in the U.S. there are many cases of poverty, as is in the U.K. and other 'well off' countries. Also, a country's money (whether hard earned or stolen, bullied or scammed) doesn't equal how good a country is overall. I'm not saying America stole all their money (though I'm pretty sure some have)"
well by poverty, i meant those places where the entiiiire country is like a pile of dirt... Or communist... lol But you know what i mean, and yes of course! I am very blessed to be as well off as i am. my dad has a good job and i live in a nice place, and i do think that every place has it's negative parts... you know? And ohohohohoho i'm not really talking money wise, i mean it is true it seems nice, But lets be honest... america stinks in the money department hahaha if i wanna live somewhere nice i'd choose Luxembourg xD america is trillions of dollars in debt, so i don't really mind, america is worth zip in the whole money department... i mean a whole city going bankrupt? That's a little sad don't you think? Plus it'd all be better if california fell into the ocean (as they say) because they're in loads of money trouble
" I say we wouldn't have had this problem if guns weren't sold in the first place but it's kinda too late now, I don't know what to suggest given the fairly irreversible circumstances."
Yeah, really that is the problem, Plus even if they were off the shelves we have a nice little friend to all the illegal people called "mexico" (sorry i know it sounds racist, but come on, they have like every drug every, and loads of guns) plus, if i really were to kill someone, i could do it with a serrated knife if i had too. Bad people are just going to be bad people. The only thing that needs to be changed is their heart.
And i know you mentioned that earlier about the death penalty, under most circumstances, i think that killing someone is terrible, we should use our best efforts to help the person out, help them out of the dark hole they've sunk into, BUT if they will do more damage, i think it is okay. "It is better that one man should perish than that a nation should dwindle and perish in unbelief" (1 Nephi 4:13) Sorry haha lds (church of jesus christ of latter day saints : aka mormon) scripture, but it was the easiest to explain it... it just means that it's better that one person should die, instead of letting them destroy other people (there are more ways to damage a person than just killing them)
" Never heard of America being split. People gaining too much control? Never thought they had that much to begin with. Equal result? Not sure what you mean, Glory. "
Well, there's the whole democrat/republican thing... you know politics... i feel like at one point or another the republicans will break off (or at least try) because "a nation divided cannot stand" (Abe Lincoln) Well it's not too much control persey, but things just aren't headed in a good direction.. the republicans are slowly going to be kicked out of the house, i'm sure the rest of the presidents here on out will be democrat, so before we know it we'll all be socialist-commies...
Equal result? Too many people believe in that whole 1% deal. They believe the people with the top 5% of income should have to pay more taxes or something, so that the people with less money will be able to get more... basically they want the rich people, who earned it, to give the poor people momey (by force) The by force part is important. I will give as much as i can, but when it is forced, it reatricts my ability to be generous and give people. I know my dad works very hard so that my family can be well off, and people want that too be taken from us. THAT is equal result. Equal opportunity is where someone, even from the very bottom in the wealth diagram, could get a job and be rich like bill gates, as long as he applied himself and works hard. I think people nowadays have just forgotten the "american dream" they've forgotten that the whole purpose is too work hard. I understand there are people who are born and raised to feel like it's impossible, or treated in such a way that they feel it is... but nothing is impossible I personally know people from horrible positions that have become great and heroes in my opinion. One was abused as a child. And she's a really awesome lady... and another lady from africa, hid 3 days in a freezer car (how they survived i don't know) with her kids to escape after her husband was killed in a mob... she moved to america to go to school and she is one of the smartest people i know. THAT is equal opportunity.
Oh nononononono sorry xD i just got ranting, it turned out harsher than i meant hahaha You did nothing wrong, but in general, i mean i know plenty of people who say things like that to put down america. I put it down too a lot i guess, but i'm just saying there are good parts, and i'm sad there are not more...
And don't forget captain america... the moment that made everyone fall in love with steve rogers
And cuss yeah it is psssh who needs water anyways!!! Oh wait...
And hahaha yes, we WOULD be here all night xD
(sorry i'll fix the whole quoting thing later...)

Well, responding to the talks about America and NASA
NASA didn't technically end it's program, but they did stop sending humans, and human transportation spacecraft to space after the Challenger Tragedy, we still send satellites, and drones into space to bring new evidence about the solar system, so we aren't done with exploring space, it's just we don't send astronauts any more
And the only way an american astronaut can get to (for example) the World Space-Station, they usually have to go to Russia, or another Country, who still has a Astronaut program.
There did that answer your questions, you Brits

Oh yeah, I remember seeing on a Top Gear episode a couple of years ago that Obama had cancelled all funds for the next Moon mission.
Well, ya can't blame him. We've already learned pretty much everything we can from the Moon. It's grey, it's dusty, it's boring...

Lol this is the problem with how you're explaining. The flag is moving. It's not an illusion. It moves apparently due to momentum and the energy lasts longer in this kinetic form due to less/no air resistance but I still don't like the explanation, it doesn't seem right along with the other points given by some conspiracy theorists. And apparently without the German guy Von Brown, the U.S. would never have gotten to the Moon. (If they really did.) It's weird because just an hour or so ago I saw a programme on it and I was like "I was talking about this with Glory just last night on Xtreme!" Destiny?

I think, everyone has actually gotten dumber, and the few people who are left that are smart, are smart enough to realize that there time and efforts could be spent else where. Plus there's no money in space... cancer is where the money is at. I'm sure people are working on a cure, but at the moment, without it, people are making bank... Maybe i just have a very depressing view of the world hahahaha
There is no shortage to stupidity unfortunately but a major problem is that in many countries, science and stuff aren't being glamourised as much as stuff like sports, acting, etc. It's a shame. The U.K. government have made it harder for students to get into university, increasing the tuition fees, making A Levels harder, reducing the budget of further education colleges, scrapping January exams, etc. It's like they want people to drop out of school I say it's best to encourage people, not cherry pick the top 10%. Even really smart people are being discouraged because of this, all that workload.... Don't get me started on money being used for cancer treatment, you're a carebear, I don't think you're ready, your view of the world is already depressing, I don't wanna make it worse. *Le zip mouth shut.*

You seem to lack some understanding of what communism is lol. It's not necessarily bad, it's just something I personally would NOT prefer because I don't want to have the same pay as everyone else, I want to excel at what I do best. I think you've been fed propaganda, Glory. And few countries are made of dirt....You've been fed too much T.V. E.g. Many places in Africa aren't all desert, and actually have relatively advanced cities. But come on, you can't blame them, money is a problem everywhere. I don't know why they call the U.S. the richest when its debt is one of the worst in the world.

BUT if they will do more damage, i think it is okay [to kill someone]
You're entitled to your opinion but I'm the master of morals and rationality! The only time it's acceptable is when the Joker escapes prison every time, it would just be easier for Batman to just kill him. Taking a life is never 'ok'. It's just rarely acceptable. Prisoners are not that harmful behind bars. Morally, it may be acceptable to kill someone if you are 100% percent certain they killed the person, have no empathy, have failed rehab, fail to cooperate, show no signs of promise, have no one that actually cares about them, etc. This is complicated, I'd direct you to the documentary but I don't have a link. But dang mosquitoes are evil. Still, not sure if it's fair to kill them since it's probably instinct. (Bad excuse...they're the scum of the insect world...) But bacteria, viruses and parasites...yeah no hesitation, I'm still cleaning my hands bro.
Glory, I don't think you'd be affected as much. I think they're talking about MULTI MILLIONAIRES. I hate greedy people. If you have enough money to feed and provide luxury for yourself, your family, friends, many future generations and future economic security (allowing for future profit in case something goes wrong) then why not share some of the money with those unable to buy bread? Yeah I know, it doesn't seem fair that some of these millionaires work hard but the point still stands, it's the right thing to do. Plus I doubt a good percentage of these millionaires worked for their money. Some were handed it, stole it, scammed it or were lucky enough to be in a high status job that probably is much easier than a job with higher risks, more hours, less breaks, worse conditions and a fraction of the wages. Oh gawd bonuses... Let's just say, I don't care how good at maths you are, if you're a greedy banker, get out! (I actually don't know how much each banker in the world is payed and what they actually do but you get the point. Maybe a banker wasn't a good example.) You question humanity when one person gets millions a year, enough to feed many thousands of others for a while at least, and when children in an underdeveloped country have to look through bins to sell stuff and make a living. If I was a millionaire, I would not be indulging myself THAT MUCH. But I wouldn't rush to a charity either, you can't trust them all. I would research first and hand over money later. Charity amount by priority; those dying right now probably should get the help now faster than those with a moderately troubling life. It's really hard and sad though as there are billions of people on Earth and we can't do that much to help everyone.
And yeah we would have been here all night but luckily you logged out at the right time. xD

You can either let people die of disease,
or let them all live long enough for everyone to die together as we starve or have no more forests or anywhere to live.

I meant, that's what I'd rather choose. Obviously the one that's more likely to happen is option 1. But option 3 is way better. Cure everything and move some of the population to Mars after making it inhabitable.

Why would we want to live on Mars anyway? It's rubbish! Why don't we go to Pluto? I hear it's nice this time of year. You'd have to hurry, though. Otherwise you'd have to wait another 248 years.
Home of the 5th Great Venusian Empire. Plus, the markets have the best sales in the galaxy. You can get ANYTHING there! Unfortunately, what I wanted cost too much. But yeah, Pluto's much better than Mars.

Well to sum up the rest of the posts, Glory rants about the US, (you know greatest country ever and all ...)
X talks about why Britain is the best country (which it holds second place, not bad... )
And Grumpy determines what is the worst possible way to die
there saved you almost all the time you would have been wasting reading those comments

Oh lol, Dane you didn't read it properly but I'll take it. Wonder what Canada's like.. Met a Canadian woman once, she was cool. There's something about Canadians that are interesting... The accent? From what I've heard (obviously there must be very significant regional variations) it sounds pretty cool. Australians are cool too.
EDIT: WHAT. Americans don't know what cuing is??? Is this true? My life is a lie. 7:18
