I..........unfortunately......am just NOW making headway on that shirt design i had planned on such a ling time ago.

I just finished outlining Lance yesterday and did cllCoop and Kiva's design the day before.

I feel as though Undelos is really a professional cartoonist who just
couldn't land another job yet and decided to crash at Xtreme for a while.

You're in a league and style of your own.
Your lines are so accurate.    
The right hemisphere is strong in this one.

Do you use your own drawing symbols (as in, pre-configured ways of drawing eyes, hands, chairs, trees, objects, etc.)
or do you draw exactly as it is in front of you or in your mind?
It may have never come across your mind but you may be using symbols;
I didn't notice this until I read a book about right hemisphere drawing and it totally makes sense
that it fairly consistently ruins my drawings. (Left brain hemisphere dominating.)
Like when I draw an eye automatically as a slightly modified lemon...

It's wrong. Well usually. Thus I need the left hemisphere to give the right some dominance
when drawing. Maybe it's not always wrong, like in generic cartoon drawing
(excluding certain circumstances)
but generally it stops people from drawing realistically.
Like when a child draws a circle for a head. Although I started using ovals
before most people my age. But I still used my left hemisphere...

Again, I took these at the last second one night using my camera on my phone.

Also, it doesnt help that I draw with a 3H Lead (makes pencil lines REAAALLY LIGHT) so yeah. it doesnt show up all that well.


The idea behind this was that I was going to put the characters that have piloted Mechs in CN's franchise in one pic like they were teaming up for the first time ever.

The middle was supposed to be Coop. The last was Kiva. I havent started on Jamie yet.

No. I didnt do Mandark because............well.............meeeeeeeh.   


Besides DAAI Mecha is supposively Dexter's Idea and I wanted to show that he was supposed to be in charge.
Dex.......however...........is taking SOOOOOOO LONG TO COLOR ITS UNREAL.
Gonna see if I can get it done soon. Hopefully.

Why not HB?  
I quite like 4B but meh I'm not bothered with switching and stuff and just go straight
for the 'HB, do everything!' card.
Besides, HB is usually the cheapest I think.
Although a high quality one is sometimes not easy to find.

I use HB. No reason, it's just my personal preference.

They just create too much mess for me.

I carry all of my drawings in my bag (Well, most of them anyway.)
and as I'm walking, the papers brush up against one another..........ALOT.

So when I take it out, I dont want a mess all over my paper.
Black India Ink already gives me the same hassles that soft Graphite would give me, hate for me to have to worry about something else.

I have like huge packs of all kinds of fancy pencils that i've gotten as gifts...
But i just use HB...

Mostly because i prefer the precision of mechanical pencils actually...


Plus, my heart belongs to the smearing,
It's like my favorite thing...

Shadow look great, plus when you use the blender pencils..

I really feel like the packs should come with a guide on the perks of each pencil...
