Hmm...I wouldn't mind doing some quick light gaming once in a while this summer.
But what bugs me about PC gaming at least on my laptop...
is that it doesn't look as fluid as console gaming.

I'm pretty sure it's something to do with refresh rate.
I've tried connecting my TV to my laptop via a HDMI cable
but I can't play games at 1080p @50Hz.
(I don't know if the TV supports 60Hz...I thought that was an NTSC thing but I dunno how it's like
these days with flat screen panels....perhaps it only applies to CRT screens of the old days.)

I'd be happy with 50 or 60Hz but at 1080p it's not happening.
I'm trying to find my other 2 (much shorter) HDMI cables to find out
if the problem is the fault of the graphics driver on my laptop
or the HDMI cable not being fast enough to handle the 1080p @50Hz signal. (Possibly due to its length
maybe...)
(Even when I get the option to play at that, I get weird green artifacts...
difficult to describe this green mess....it's like it's washed out with some green in some areas,
I'll take a screenshot if anyone thinks they could be of some help.)

My HDMI cable is I think 8m or 10m long which is VERY long
for a HDMI cable. (Most are like 1-3m max because people usually just connect them
to a blu-ray player or something and not trying to make their PC feel
like a console!   )

On DMC: Devil May Cry, I think I was able to run 1280x720 (720p)
at 50Hz and it was fun and looked awesome....except for the fact
the resolution was lower....thus pixelation on a 1080p 42" LCD TV.... 
But it did feel like I was playing on a Playstation or Xbox.
I don't know how to describe the difference between 50Hz/60Hz and substandard refresh rates
like 24Hz - 30Hz. It looks less movie like and more real time if that makes sense
and motion-ey.

But I might say it repeatedly occasionally.   
Like when we call Undelos, UNDooLY/Undy and XLR8, XLRaaaate/xlaaaandie bird, etc.
Undelos has a million of 'em.  
What about Olive? Olimar was a bad one. Maybe because I don't get the reference.

I remember getting that Returned Dragoner title, it wasn't really necessary but it has nice stats so...    At least you guys finally decided to log in, it was getting boring in there.

I doubt this is useful to anyone but the problem with my HDMI cable connection wasn't
my drivers....
It was the cable.
That green stuff no longer shows
as I bought a new cable and I can finally run things at 1080p @60Hz and stuff.

The original one MAY have been cheap and/or an old version of HDMI
BUT it was 10m long so that may affect the speed.
The new one is 5m and is a high speed v1.4 HDMI cable I think.  
Sometimes it's like I'm playing on a console.  
And other times....not exactly.
I might fire up Dragon Nest to see its beauty in 1080p @60Hz.

ok I'll patch mine tomorrow or tonight but whenever I was on I was alone so I'll see what we can do about that and the whole laggy lvls thing.

EDIT: Nevermind. Forgot my ID/username and not my password.
Tried the European Dragon Nest site
and requested for the ID by being sent an e-mail.
But it's weird I have no record of Dragon Nest prior to it.
