I think we are all aware of a new science fiction "shared-world shooter" game called "Destiny". It looks cool, it sounds cool, heck even the concept art is cool, and if you are not aware of the game this thread was made for the purpose.

 Basically after FusionFall was shutdown I understand a lot of us are having trouble finding new games to experience, I know because I couldn't find anything that was close to our beloved game, mostly because a lot of free MMO's stink, and the ones that do have a price don't look very interesting. So after FusionFall I played console games and there were still nothing that filled in that hole for adventure, and customization...but then out of the darkness came a light, the Destiny Beta

it was free and not much time to download so I gave it a go..........and I never imagined the potential of the game. It felt like FusionFall but in a weird way nothing like it, so to break down what it felt like, here is the story and gameplay.

Story: 
In the far future humanity comes in contact with an alien sphere titled, "The Traveler" it gave human's the knowledge that we could only barely imagine, great cities were built on Mars, and Venus, and human life tripled, we became of race a glory, and pride, but the Traveler had an enemy...a force of darkness that consumed all of humanity's colony's and nearly wiped us out, until the Traveler sacrificed itself to save us, we built a city- our last underneath it's final stand, and there we are protected by it's hovering body. You are a guardian, who fights the evil species out in our solar system who want to destroy us and take our home and everything we ever built. You will explore our past, fight horrible creatures, and embark on a mission, that will save humanity from this darkness.

Gameplay:
Once everything was settled you could choose a class of three, Titans, Warlocks, and Hunters, and after that you chose a species Human, Alien, ect... and then you could customize him/her anyway you want (hair style, skin color, war paint, ect...) to say the least the customizing was full of options. 

 Then you are sent out into the game, where you have a whole universe to explore. out there you could walk across the barren landscapes of Earth, fly to the Moon, Mars, and Venus, also you can head back to the Tower, the HQ of Guardians.

You also get armor for your guardian, and new weaponry to create an even deadlier soldier.

Then you could fight four different species of alien, who wish to destroy us all, killing them will make one leap forward to defeating the darkness, and earn you some loot on the way. 

You can also battle other players for rewards in the "Crucible" (a competitive multiplayer mode) 

There are also "Strike Missions" were you and a random pair of other players will tag along to fight a huge boss. Plus there are "Raids" six player modes that require skill, and teamwork to complete.


And if you like to roam freely, remember there are four whole planets to go to.

My Thoughts:
basically I brought this up because it looks great, and after playing the beta, I know it's great, it has potential, and I already pre-ordered it, and I can't wait for when it comes out, and I wanted to share it to you guys to see if any of you are interested. But the best part about this game...is that the stuff I listed was only 10% of the whole game.

I play on my GC or my ps2 if I ever play on a console, Third World Probs 

So the only thing I know about anything is any info I get from watching Hard News.

@Grumps yeah Bungie had some really cool games and I think the greatness of those games will live up to this new one 

@Undelos the whole game is based around mystery, and questions, and the story kind of gives players an urge to discover, and explore, the type of games I love

This game is going to be awesome. Not a replacement of fusionfall. This is way better. Also there is pvp. And 4 squad up team to go in planets and do missions. Undelos dark ess are aliens.... what else would they be ? Humans? Lol the darkness are aliens that are bad etc. This game is awesome not for pc though. Only consoles. Def cop for me on ps4

Also your not goal isnt really to explore. Its to fight off the darkness and explore new worlds where the darkness thrives. You are earths last hope or wutever. Pvp is highly competitive its like halo

Next gen consoles... next gen is no longer applicable for wii u. Also most AAA gaming companys wont be releasing anything on wii u

watch dogs was like the last AAA title for the wii-u...
Its not making money for the companys and its to much effort to downgrade graphics and controls and all just for the wii-u

wii-u came out november 30 2012.
ps4 and xbone came out about a year after that date.
wii-u is no longer next gen and it actually wasnt even next gen.
ps3 and xbox 360 beat it out everywhere.
they where far more superior.
besides the fact that wii-u has nintendo games.
