R.I.P. David Bowie

But anyway, last night, we lost another musical legend; David Bowie. Known for songs such as Space Oddity and Starman. I'm not much of a music lover as some of my other friends, but even I agree that Bowie was one of the greatest. Though to me, he's mostly known as being in Spongebob. Razz

But yeah... what makes this worse is that he only just released his latest album, Blackstar, two days ago. On his birthday. He will be missed.

I was never familiar with his type of genre but did know about him
and it's a real shame the world has lost a good person and a unique
and legendary music artist.

Songs like "Starman" remind me of the old times back when the world
was probably more innocent and more legends were with us,
music, movie, TV show wise, etc. (like Lemmy Kilmister, Michael Jackson, Patrick Moore, Cilia Black,
Casey Kasem, Robbin Williams, Heath Ledger, Leonard Nimoy, Christopher Lee, and
many many more admirable people who left this world. Misery

Including friends, family, etc.)

He kind of reminds me of Christopher Walken I think, look-wise.

I also loved the space theme David Bowie often used in his songs. Nostalgia

Yeah, I really didn't know many David Bowie songs (though I would probably recognize them), and I never saw "the Labrynth" either...
BUT he is Tesla in the Prestige. Despite being known for his music, he really was a great actor.

AND I have to be honest, I'm not too sad... Of course this is a sad thing, but the recent Celebrity deaths now have me looking to see if there was an OD or something, and THAT is what makes me sad.

So a toast to a great man, who lived a great life, and fought a very difficult battle. Nostalgia
