| I was going to put this in the MOD only section but nah. A friend brought this up and it seems when someone registers on the forum, the new member is told something like (in the words of Hom) "yo bruv, the admin needs to approve for your account registration to go ahead, innit".... And I rarely check my forum e-mail these days.... So many people have been denied Xtreme FusionFall forum membership/accounts. (For how long? I can't tell.) Hey guys....don't blame me...I didn't know. I changed it back now. What damage could this have done...... And there seems to be an e-mail in my inbox..... HOM! HOM!! LOOK!! Future veterans still exist!
You know what this means right? Leonardo Duchen22! You remember him right, Hom? Another future veteran? But it's possible he'll never come here now due to the stupid settings! :/ EDIT: Don't worry, he seems to be on the FusionFall Legacy website too. I'll just contact him....if it's the real Leonardo..

| For once, it wasn't my fault. Could be Undelos, but I dunno. Probably more likely that it was Forumotion. Still don't understand how I never managed to see you guys in the Future... or how I never would manage to see you guys. I was for almost all of 2009 and 2010. |

| I've seen these emails a couple of times. I had a feeling that they were probably spambots but i just didnt find time to poke in the admin settings.
But i just figured that their request got approved. It never said in the emails that i had to apprive them.
I would have each time if it did. |

| It could also have been me but I would have thought I'd choose the lesser damaging option. (There were 3 options in the settings....or maybe there used to be only 2?) -Authorise account activation by Admin via e-mail. (Not a great option.) -Authorise by user activation via THEIR e-mail. (OK option....not suitable for those without real e-mail addresses though.) -Authorise automatically. (Great but spam accounts MIGHT be an option if they get through the captcha anti-spam test.) But also, in any case, a new member will have to log in manually after account creation....unfortunately not all realise they just have to log in again and might assume they can't be a member as a result of not being automatically signed in after creating their account. Oh well. |

| Not really as if spam accounts are really a problem here. Sure, we probably get a lot of them, but it's not like they really interact with the site. |

Well hopefully we didn't lose too many people If you accept them, will they get an email saying they're accepted? Because then those who used a real email would be able to see it and then come back |

I think a few posted spam links....like virus infected stuff to download. But I'm not worried. - Gloryangel wrote:

Glory. It's 2016. Like seriously. Lol kidding, making stairs. (Made of smileys.) But seriously....why 2013? The year Glory stopped time? Come on Oliver, explain this timey wimey thing to us. How did Glory stop time? Can you make a time machine using gravity waves? (I thought we already could detect gravity waves / graviton particles.... Guess I fell from the future and experienced de ja vu. ) |

Yeah, but that was like 2013/14. And probably only one account. Now. As for Glory stopping time; People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey stuff. Time can keep moving if space has been frozen, but not for you. Hence why someone can be kept in stasis for 100 years but feel like only a second has passed. Like a caveman. Or if you fell into a black hole. But for everything else, time would carry on going forward slowly. But if someone froze time, space would feel the same, no matter who you are. Time is effected by gravity, not space itself. You might be thinking "what if I lived on Pluto? It takes over 200 years to orbit the Sun". It doesn't matter where you are, something will be moving a the same speed it would be if both you and it were on Earth (unless if you were jumping on the moon. That takes longer), but it would take a while to see it if it gave off a light due to the speed of light. But if it takes 8 minutes for light to reach Earth from the Sun, if you stopped time, it would still take 8 minutes, only it wouldn't because time has stopped. But light rides on gravity and space, not time. If that doesn't make sense, think of Clara in the series 9 finale, where she was able to move, even though time had stopped. And space, but she was still able to move. Still confused? Good. Now you know how it feels, X. |
