Playing FusionFall the second time (all levels all over again)
is literally a chore, although doing it once was a bit of a hassle but I'm not
really into RPGs and get bored extremely quickly, I don't care about slowly introducing the story through
meaningless tasks, (that happens nearly all the time in RPGs)
I just want to get on with it but still recieve the story in a dramatic action format. (FPSs are awesome ;D and third person shooter and adventure games )

If you want to add me in the game, tell me in advance since I'm not online and I have a full buddy list so I have to delete someone
that has only been online once or something. (I hate deleting buddys they should increase the maximum above 50 )

And I know what you mean agreeing that straight to the point but dramatic is a lot better than little by little tedious tasks.
In Crysis, when I played the campaign for the first time, on the last level I had to get a special gun (I couldn't continue without it)
but it only told me in the form of writing.
I didn't notice the writing, a lot of people don't.
The reason is because most FPS players want to get through the mission by means of stealth,
brute force combat or running and gunning not to have to read and pay attention to what's written on the screen.
It was a hassle doing the whole mission again just to be able to continue so they should have made it more clear like maybe not letting you get out of a certain area without
picking the weapon up. (should be placed on the objective list...and STAY on the objective and map)
But still a great campaign.

I have told some, although most haven't been online since last year and even more further back.
I think I sent them (or at least some of them)
a fusionfall email saying something like....
Hey you haven't been online in a long time
when you're back online and see this email go to my website and leave a comment


This is probably what inspired me to create the players page.

I did that like a year ago and i hope that helped xtreme's popularity

You should probably make a profile on the Players page and list people you're looking for.
Undelos why don't you make a profile too?
Also Undelos, who are you going to be in the 7 Legendary Heroes movie?
Can you provide a screenshot of your character so I can make another poster, this time it includes you and De Zombieweasel.
And for the screenshot and filming, just wear some cool clothes (for your level at least)
but I need to know what role you want to play.

NEW 7 Legendary Heroes - XLR8 147, Fuzzy Barkzon, De Zombieweasel a few other people, may need to add a couple more actors.
OLD 7 Legendary Heroes - We'll just get a few people from Mount Blackhead.
Main Villain - Either Slim De Jackson or Undelos
Villain's partner in crime - either of those two
Extras (people scared around the villain) - people from mount blackhead

Undelos, can you film your character. (only a few seconds are required - around 5 seconds)

Undelos you can use Hypercam 2 or 3 or Fraps (Fraps is better I guess)
to record your character, I need footage of your character.
It will appear in a short intro of your site.
My intro plays, I run, De Zombieweasel's intro plays, the camera zooms into him and
then yours plays and then it shows footage of you. (try to be creative but anything will do as long as we can see your character)
I need this kind of soon so I can get the trailer out of the way.

I would prefer to finish my trailer and use my version of your very short intro but don't worry
we can use your intro (the one you'll make) later in the real movie, if you want.

The real movie will take a very long time to make since I have hardly any time but I wanted to get the trailer out
because I haven't uploaded a video in months!

Up to you what you film but I literally need a 3-5 second piece of footage of your character (8 seconds max)
but that will be easy to edit as I just need to pick out the best angles of your footage etc.
So I'm running in my trailer intro, De Zombieweasel is zoomed in upon by the camera (unless he wants it to be something else I may be able to quickly receive a footage of his character of his choice and quickly edit that) so maybe that will help you decide.
Also, when you give me the footage, tell me any effects you want (if any) such as zooming in, cropped still/static zoom, pan from left to right, colour correction etc.

Doesn't Taksi record maximum 10 frames per second?
That seems a bit slow but if you think it's fast enough then go ahead!

Use a codec (Divx or Xvid if you're low on space)
but using a raw uncompressed codec would be better quality but it would record slow due to the processing power
required.

Hypercam is decent and fraps is great if your computer can handle it.

Your intro requires way under 30 seconds.
On top of that, there is a free old version, works but with a lot less features.
But free.

Is there a Fraps watermark on the recorded Fraps video?
If so, and if it is far at the top, it wont be a problem since I can zoom the video a bit or crop the video
in the editor. (will still look good...probably better since it's zoomed in, clearer and larger with more detail)

BTW Taksi is nothing compared to Fraps, just sayin'.
Well to tell you the truth, I had problems installing it but entirely based on quality and reputation...
Taksi is one of the lesser known, lesser good game recorders. :/
I may try it soon on my new laptop with the latest version and see how things go but I don't expect to switch from
Fraps / hypercam 2/3 to Taksi.
Hypercam isn't free but it only shows a small Unregistered Hypercam label at the far top left.
