ugh its that time again school time and guess wat i have to teach freshman the first 2 months of school

While me, X and Hom don't start school until the beginning of September...

I start on the 23rd

ugh lucky i taught summer school and now the predicted top 10 have to teach ugh my laptop down to and i have to miss almost all my ap classes meaning i prob will fail ugh stupid superintendent

now you can wipe that confounded look off your face 'cause if you went for that kind of major, I'd love to see how much you love Summer vacation anymore either.

Unfortunetly, I cant go back until I pay off all my fees which are about $2,000 dollars. Not really a big feat honestly. I dont have many expenses besides assisting my mother with stuff here and there. I think after a couple of weeks, I should have the money in no time. Just not soon enough to start in the fall though.

This sucks. X is lucky. Not you guys though. I never liked going back to school when I was in High School. Who does really?
However college is a totally different thing. You take however many classes you want, get done with them at 3 in the afternoon, and pend the rest of your time hanging out in your Computer Science department playing Super Smash Bros with your teachers.
Well the teacher thing is only a tiny bit exaggerated.

But me and my frends/ membes of my club DID stay up late at night some nights playing FusionFall on the lab computers. Managed to get most of my members in my club to play. One night, a friend of mine and a fellow member of my club mamaged to get ahold of a copy of Mortal Kombat..............a day before it was released in stores! We aso played Marvel vs. Capcom 3 on those nights, Watched random videos, even pulled out a DDR mat one night.

I DID try to get the chairman of our Department to try this really great, underrated game called Okami. For a 50 year old guy, was MORE than willing to check it out. He said he wanted to see how the mechanics of painting your various powers in the game worked.

Guess he could figure that out just by looking at it. I'm not there yet but I wish to be.

At least your chairman never mentioned TV shows, cause everyone knows, CGI shows are THE worst! I usually watch 4-5 episodes until it gets boring. That's why I always preferred the old Garfield show...

Last time I checked, I had to edit a 15-20 minute movie (8 mins done so far)
as soon as possible before college starts...skip the games,
go straight to learning A level chemistry, biology, physics and psychology...

Seriously...it's weird, when I was a kid (I'm only a mid teen...lol)
I was good art and science...I NEED THAT LEFT AND RIGHT SIDE PARTNERSHIP AGAIN!!
Slowly, my art and video editing got better but my scientific knowledge went through the floor.

Primary school (Elementary) - Best at science in the entire school even when I wasn't in year 6. (Heck, I was good even in year 3)

Secondary school (High school) - science on average I was getting Bs!!!....!!!!!!! THE HECK!
Getting a B is a MAJOR disappointment for me. A is just satisfactory.
The worst part was, I didn't care too much.
I would so go back in time and kill my former self. It's like we were two different people.

All I know is, my artistic skills have been strong ever since I can remember. (Ok...age 5..it was stick men like everybody else
but they developed quickly, most people were making circle smiley faces in year 2 while I was making proportionally accurate faces with ovals
and EXTREME shading that scares me at this age, I can't shade as well as I used to.)

My scientific knowledge was strong from age 5 to 11 then rose up again at age 15 probably.
Yeah age 11-14 ...worst years of my teenage life...the other worst years were from my early child hood.
Life sucked. Still kinda does but not so much.

Still don't see how I could be lucky...except like to be alive.

Actually, I only Dual screened with two of these 17 inch screens in this one lab. They were the only ones with Adobe After Effects installed on it so I knew it could handle the demands of dual Screening with FusionFall.

Plz. I honestly didn't even want to go to my prom. Not my cup of tea. But my mother insisted. Even got me in a dress.
But I ended up enjoying it as much as I thought I would. Which was not at all.

Yeah, I hate it when CGI eats the budget for a show. Voltron Force is a good example. Yes the Voltron Lions look sleek and wonderful but the writing and cartoon quality suffers from mediocrity. Granted, I watch it for the characters but it'd be nice to watch it for it's intended purpose.

Besides, they're not gonna throw a 60 page writing assignment at you right away. Most english majors don't see a report nearly that big. And not until their senior year.

@Undelos: Well.... You see... I actually do have it! My dad is amazing computer builder and all of that stuff and he built me one of them and now i'm sitting in my chair looking around and typing this while in the 360 degree computer!

I'm not a genius but I'd like to think I had so much
potential when I was a kid.
Year 7 was undoubtedly, one of the worst years of my life
and it scarred me by bringing ignorance in it's way.
Listening to music, watching tv, doing lots of homework, lagging
behind in maths (as I've always done ...)
as well as severely depressed, these factors completely obliterated
my passion for science.
I'm so glad I had an awesome science teacher in year 8 right through to year 11.
I'll miss her greatly. I think she was one of the main influences that brought me back to the
science side instead of being a lazy idiot like I was for 3 years. ._.

You know what that does to you? Knowing that 3-5 years of your life, you wasted
and you fell to such an average level, knowing that you could have legitimately
pursued a high science career from a young age. I'm telling you, if I hadn't changed,

I'd probably be reading science books RIGHT NOW and getting straight A*s.
Instead I get A*s, sometimes As and occasionally Bs.
However I'm slow at writing and I have horrible handwriting.

Btw, American schooling might be tougher than English schooling or vice versa.
I guess it depends on the individuals schools too.

I'm not so sure.

Guess I'm the same with Undelos and X with the Maths. Maths is one of my worst subjects. Along with cooking (Which I dropped in Year 10 cause the cooking teacher is annoying. And I'm not an awesome chef unlike my older brother. But I know that if you want a better tasting cupcake, replace one type of sugar with the other. I always do that by accident).

I guess my favourite subjects were physics and woodwork. I chose woodwork for year 10 cause I had one of my favourite teachers (Who kinda looks like Genndy Tartakovsky) and it was easy. And we weren't given homework for that subject. Or physics. In years 10 and 11 at least.

I guess I still prefer my primary school though. Kinda annoying that my primary school got such cool stuff like a gazebo AFTER I left. Me want time machine! One reason is so I can find out where I put my Game Boy Colour, my Pokeball, Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt and my NES cables.

I'm also horrible at math, but AMAZING at cooking and writing and singing and reading and video gaming... that's about it!

Naw man. Only English majors have that workload. You'd just have to take GenEd classes. The most you'd have to look forward to is 11paragraph reports. You're not an English major so they're not gonna ask you to do a massive workload.

Besides, like I said, english majors won't see that kind of workload until the end of their final year of college.

Pls. I'M an average student. I'm usually just a B-C student. I get to the next grade with just a couple of scrapes. Math was the only thing that gives mie a problem.

Don't worry. You'll see what I mean in a matter of weeks. Colleges actuall have programs set up to ease freshman into college life. They'll have activities for freshman that you will HAVE to attend. They make sure that you'll feel at ease with your first year jitters.

It'll get better in just a few weeks. Trust me.

At my school gaming is a class! They say it's a advanced class of some sort and I was put in it. They say it helps you with hand eye coordinates and well it sort of does!

You guys are lucky! Though there was one time last year where we were allowed to play a game in IT for the whole 2 hours (Yes, double lesson.) and we were all playing the same one. We were playing something called Wolfenstein. It's like CoD, but cooler.

Then again, everything's cooler than CoD...

I played FF in class before for 3 hours, we either have 1 hour, 2 hour, 3 hour or 4 hours of class! And usually we get 4 hours in Gaming

lol our school was remodeled and it is way bigger and now we have a bigger video game class with sixteen screen computers bigger lounge room bigger classes and a new theater it is huge i love it considering i am an actor lol our new school is the biggest in san diego

I also don't like that field of view (FOV) it's so...console like and up in your face like

Run around S&D lobbies and you would see clans with Interventions who would wait until the last playe ron the other team was around and do like trick hsots I used to always wait until I wa slast and just clutch it...

We played at school but I did enjoy playing as Amaterasu, a character from my most favorite game of ALLL TIMMME!

We played on Xbox360. Wish I did have a PS3 though.

PS3 IS SO AMAZING THAT IT LETS YOU FLY DOWN THE PORTAPOTTY AND UP THE DRAIN AND THROUGH YOUR OWN EAR!!!!!! that's how amazing it is!
