| So yeah, the title explains it all... I thought I would give it a try when I made a character before the academy but had gotten the nano capsules and so I drew him! But then I deleted him since I got bored of him and stuff! |

| This is what happens when you draw better than me or Undelos. We get too much jealousy, our minds can't contain it and our brains turn all that extra jealousy into awe. |

| WHHOOOOOOOAAAAAATTT!! SPEAK FOR YRSELF!!!! I AM ACTUALLY THRILLED!!!
If there is one thing to take from this thread as a life lesson it is this: It get's lonely at the top.
Do you realize how many people that I run into on a daily basis that become SIMPLY AMAZED with my drawings. How many times I've had to hear the classic line, "that's so good! I can barely draw a stick figure. Lol." If you are TRUELY as good as me, then your heart breaks a little each and every time you hear that.
I REALLY HATE not runnning into people as good as me. OH YESH!! It is MADD fun to get your ego stroked, pulling out your professional grade quality linearts in public to work on them and watch as passerbys stop in wonder as you create these masterpeices. (Yes. I'm THIS conceited. In my head of course. I don't let it out often though so don't worry. I really try to be as modest as possible)
But at the end of the day... It's no fun......when you know that 98% of everyone that you know, do not have this cool ability. It's not exactly enjoyable to know that you're in the top percentile of what you do.
I wish theere were more out there that could draw remotely like me. There are so many people out there with amazing ideas, stories to be told, legends to be made, shows and games to be made and the thing that stops them is that they can't express it visually.
Why do you think I joined deviantArt in the first place??? If I TRUELY got mad when there is a better artist than me, signing up to dA IS THE WORST mistake you can make. I get inspiration from other's art. When a user made that picture of Dark Dexter, I was inspired to make one like theirs and show everyone who inspired me. I see people as good as me as not ONLY as an inspiration, but as a challenge. If you notice on dA, there are artist there that, if in an art contest, THEY COULD WIPE THE FLOOR WITH ME. I constantly push myself to get a tier higher than I am at. With each drawing I do here, I gain more experience. DA pushes me to always be better than I was the day before, all the time.
So. Believe me when I say I AM THRILLED!!!! |

| Well lineart for me is TONS simpler than what it sounds like. You draw out the basic outline for the picture right? You don't just add color first and then add the lines? To me, that's basically what line art is for me.
It's just that I found my mom's old pen set that she had in college that was meant for drafting. She let me use it and I found out that I love it. So that's why my drawings are always outlined in black ink.
And Bradley... WHY IN THE WORLD DID YOU HIDE THIS TALENT FROM US!?
And um....isn't that top only worn by females??? |

Brad... Are you hiding something? And Undelos, are you sure that's not the shirt Lee Kanker gives you in the last part of the 'Lee Kanker Likes You!' missions? |

| I did all of Lee Kanker likes you missions. I never saw that top until I started playing as Rajeta. I tried it on, felt it was too frilly and went back to mah awesume Basic puffy Jacket.
But yeah. Never saw it until I played as a girl. But if a guy can pull off the look then More power to them. Now that I'm thinking about it, do a lot of guys just not pick purple as their hair color?? |

| O_ONever seen anything like it! (And the British anthem was playing while I was looking at this... the Paralympics is on right now! They showed Steven Hawking too. ) AWESOME WORK UNDEAD BRAD! @Undelos, speak for yourself lololol. I love it when I'm the only one that can draw in the room. Seriously though, I don't mind but it makes you feel a little special. But...I kinda don't like it that much when people stare at you drawing... (for extended periods of time) I mean sure looking once in a while to see progress is one thing but staying there, staring, waiting....it's like you're going to shoot me if I don't draw something good. LOL. Even when you meet people with good artistic skills, everyone has different styles WHICH I THINK IS THE BEST PART! I draw shaded over-exaggerated dark stuff with surreal elements while the girl next to me draws light hearted colourful landscapes with animals and the guy near me draws awesome manga.... I like where I stand. Sure it would be cool to draw like them but I wouldn't swap abilities or imagination. (Guess why I put Bats here right after imagination. Dark Knight.) Also, people can join up their art to make something EXTREMELY original. E.g. get a landscape artist to draw an amazingly well detailed landscape, throw in a dark atmospheric and surreal artist to add some dark tones and a scenario. Then invite a cartoonist to draw cartoony characters which stands out from the dark tones and dark characters/scanerios. Then get a special effects person to add fire or whatever. BOOM, you get an image that describes many meanings including 'there's always hope ahead of the fire' kinda thing... As for imagination, I think most people who have great imaginations, have good artistic skills too. (Makes sense doesn't it? Since ... well something to do with the right side of the brain ... I won't go into that because some say it doesn't work like that and others say it does.) Even if people with great imaginations don't even have the ability to draw stick men (really? I think it's extremely exaggerated when someone says they can't draw stick people, it's such a basic algorithm for the complex mind to process. Draw perpendicular lines, add circle at the peak, then draw a '^' for the legs. Even simpler than handwriting.) they have other ways of expressing their ideas. - Story Writing - Drawing - Poetry - Abstract - Sculptures - Arrangement art and collages - Filming - Photography, etc. I wish I had a dark gift ...I mean...ability to draw the darkest images imaginable. But my stuff is mediocre at best in comparison with what professionals can do. (Look at the concept art for VENOM from Spider-Man 3.) |

Don't tell me Stephen Hawking's competing. Imagine him using jets on the back of his convert-a-chair (That's what I'm calling it) to win a race! |

OH JEEZ!!! I feed off of the attention like a vampire. I mean I am SOOO serious when I say I am SOO CONCEITED on the inside. But I balance it out with modesty. I am the kindest person that you'll meet but OH BOY! I struggle with my modesty when it comes to my art.I'm like The Hom when it comes to a trouble making contest. But I shove my conceitedness in a dark box the back of my mind, and NEVER LET IT OUT. EVER. |
