Gas Tank, along with Bolt and Stamina Power Item are now unused power items, presumably for nanos. Before we got the power items and gumballs, these items were used some time in development before beta. They are not helmets and currently are not usable.

As for worth, they are among the rarest items in the game. Roughly 30-50 Gas Tanks are in circulation, and I've made sure not many more get out so they hold their value. I would put their rarity ranking up with all seven "legendary" sets. Stamina on the other hand, is slightly more valuable, with about 20-30 in circulation.

In order to obtain these, you must by them from an invisible NPC labeled Number Two. This NPC does not exist in the world.

The problem lies with the common "unknown nature" surrounding the item. Because many don't know what it is or have heard of it, and because of its non-functionality, they assume its worthless.

Not to be a buzz kill but ALOT of them exist random ppl give them alot well most likely not worth alot because it wont open lol

Alot of them don't exist. I've tallied every single one given out by both me and the only other person able to give them out. The count is about 50.

Technically speaking, with Ben Jackets at an estimated count of 10,000+, that makes Gas Tank an estimated 200 times more rare than a Ben Jacket. Now if you factor in the fact that Gas Tank is only obtainable from trading specific people, and the output of them is being monitored, that puts it at roughly 1,000 times more rare, and I'm being generous.

Okay, have you ever heard of the ghost hack? It sort of like makes parts of your body go invisible when you take off your clothes, like if you take off a helmet your head disappears and then the samething with the rest, does other people see it? or do you only?

There are several ways to replicate that effect, but only the person doing it can see it.

Wilt no one time I seen a dude without a hat on my screen but it was probably a loading problem like half his head was gone lol and his hair

One of my friends wich wilttilt probbaly knows showed me 50. so if one person has 50 i am guessing there are more than 50. and currently the gas tank is worthless because no one wants to buy them because they dont do anything...

They are passed around alot and I wouldnt even give taros for one >_<

That is the biggest problem with the trading community. Because no one knows what it is, or it doesn't do anything, it is presumed worthless. Prices are determined by the consumers, which in almost all cases are wrong with judging prices.
