| I think two minutes on earth is one day on Jupiter, now here is a question for all ya'll, would it be cool if I made a comic about my character, just to do something once in a while to keep the post up, and to just have fun?! (I'm not gonna draw like columns and stuff like that, more like talk, and describe it, and maybe add one picture to capture the scene!) |

| Thanks Grumpy. Just the answer I was looking for. You win 3 internets.
Now, a different question for you, Brad. How is a Jellyfish a living creature? They have no brain, no bones, no blood, no orifices, but they still move and are sentient. I understand that it's nerves cause movement, but what about the sentience? |

Now, a different question for you, Brad. How is a Jellyfish a living creature? They have no brain, no bones, no blood, no orifices, but they still move and are sentient. I understand that it's nerves cause movement, but what about the sentience? I dunno if this answers your question completely but: Jellyfish do not have specialized digestive, osmoregulatory, central nervous, respiratory, or circulatory systems. They digest using the gastrodermal lining of the gastrovascular cavity, where nutrients are absorbed. They do not need a respiratory system since their skin is thin enough that the body is oxygenated by diffusion. They have limited control over movement, but can use their hydrostatic skeleton to accomplish movement through contraction-pulsations of the bell-like body; some species actively swim most of the time, while others are passive much of the time. Jellyfish are composed of more than 90% water; most of their umbrella mass is a gelatinous material - the jelly - called mesoglea which is surrounded by two layers of epithelial cells which form the umbrella (top surface) and subumbrella (bottom surface) of the bell, or body. Jellyfish do not have a brain or central nervous system, but rather have a loose network of nerves, located in the epidermis, which is called a "nerve net." A jellyfish detects various stimuli including the touch of other animals via this nerve net, which then transmits impulses both throughout the nerve net and around a circular nerve ring, through the rhopalial lappet, located at the rim of the jellyfish body, to other nerve cells. Some jellyfish also have ocelli: light-sensitive organs that do not form images but which can detect light, and are used to determine up from down, responding to sunlight shining on the water's surface. |

| Okay then, SmartyPantsBrad, why are they sentient? You explained that they cannot move on their own, and that the nerves are what move them, but they are sentient creatures. They have a sense of where their tentacles are going, and can move them. Another question, this makes two, how do they reproduce?
SUDoKu: 1 Brad: Around 5 or 6 |

There is no last digit of Pi. It's a never ending number. |

| @Sud's Q#1: Jellyfish arent sentient, they don't control where they go, they just... go. Q#2 - Spoiler:
first the male jellyfish produce the ## that are released out of the mouth of the male jellyfish. The ## swim into the mouth of the female jellyfish and fertilise the eggs. The fertilised eggs are released and float to the bed of the sea. They are now called Planulas and will float for up to six days until they attach themselves to something hard like a rock or shell. They will then develop into polyps. Polyps can live like this for over five years using there upturned tentacles to catch shrimp and other small fish. At this stage in their life the jellyfish will look a bit like a sea anemone or a tree with branch like features sticking out of it. After their many years like this they will have several grooves in will grow deeper in the side of them. The polyp is now a Strobila. The strobila's grooves get so deep it eventually cuts the jellyfish up, and like stack of coins the jellyfish larvae float off to start its next stage of life as an adult jellyfish. |

WRONG! pi is finite, it just has 5 trillion digits, with the final digit being 6 |
