That was being repeated through the base. They ran faster, faster, faster, she couldn't keep up in her dress. She fell to her knees. The man saw she fell and picked her up in his arms and kept running
"Does thou have a name? Tis not everyday I allow people to carry me" She said in a shy voice blushing a little
"Hmm well yeh, everyone calls me grumpy, names Keitaro Hiro, I'm also apart of Xtreme" he said in a proud tone. "Thats where you'll be safe"
"My name's Lin-ea Shakar, my family ran an electric generator factory". She replied quietly.
A man on a higher floor stares down at them, all he says is "Release Project Brad"
As they reached the first floor lobby they were getting excited, until a man jumped right infront of them, They stared down at eachother until finally he spoke.
"Name's Brad, I'm Experiment 54PKL , also known as the beast shape shifter." He announced and then within a blink of an eye grew claws, sharp teeth, and horns. Grumpy grabs his pistol and aims as brad stops transformin.
"Well Brad you were a good man back at Xtreme, I regret not being able to save you that day." Grumpy said softly.
"You guys could have stopped the explosion," he cried as he vanished and appeared right between Grumpy and Lin-ea. His claw high in the sky about to sweep

Blood is dripping down. Grumpy's arm was hit by the claw. Lin-ea's face was in a huge shock.
"Dogding is what your powers are best at, yet you let yourself get hurt for this girl?" Brad said, knowing grumpys movement shift ability, Basically before impact or getting hit. Grumpy can pause time, see whats coming and shift his body, leaving a blue trail. he cant move his body withing the paused time though just launch his body like a rocket in any direction, perfect for dodging all attacks. Except he has to be steping on a flat surface to use it.
"Hahhaa yeh, I could dodge any of your slow attacks" he said chuckling

"You're lucky the sabers on paralize mode, or I couldve killed you" He said putting it away. Guns and other technlogies have either a kill or paralize mode, when in paralize the lazers or saber blade only paralize the area the person attacks. Kill mode slices them clean off.
"I want to go home this future is horrible" Lin-ea cried in fear.
Grumpy got down next to her, Brad still paralized on the ground, "No matter how long it takes, I'll do whatever I can I promise. So don't cry anymore. Okay?" He reassured with smile.
Brad started to lose paralizes, getting up slowly, Grumpy reached towards Lin-ea and said " Twin Circuit, Generate."
Lin-eas body and Grumpys were highlighted in blue, their eyes glew for a few seconds, when it stopped grumpy had a seal on his chest. Reached out at Brad slowly.Instantly shooting him with electricity as Brad was sent flying and knocked out , they both then released the Twin circuit and headed to the door
"What was that?" Lin-ea said surprized.
"Nothing really, guys and girls can lend eachother their powers to make them stronger for a moment, It's Twin Circuit, Usually its one guy and one girl since it requires the guy to want to protect the girl." He said in a tired tone.
At the door were more people, each wearing clothing that said Xtreme, A man in white hair got the hover truck ready as Grumpy and Lin reached them. So off they went, to the secret headquarters named Xtreme Hunters.
