Ever since that day, my neck has always been my weak spot. Everyone who knew me well enough would know that. Every 4 years that test would be performed on me. The masked guy, I never found out his name. so I always called him masked. or M. either way, it wasnt his name. Anyways, Masked explained to me and my sister the test was just to see if my system responded like an immortal or mortal. Some tests it responded as mortal, but most it was immortal. I was a puzzle that everyone wanted solved. Personally, I didnt mind the tests. sure they got annoying and every single time I needed to go for it, I was scared out of my mind. But, the year I escaped, I was provoked to. They were going to test my sister. Test me? Sure, but go and test my sister, not gonna happen any time soon. I saw them come through the door. "Congrats Aurora, the master has given you a break from the tests. Come now Jennifer, its your turn." My eyes widened. I leapt towards the cell door and grabbed the keys from the guards belt. "Nobody is going to go near my sister." I said in a dark tone. The guards were surprised in my sudden change of attitude. "Give me the keys" the guard said. I smirked. "Not a chance." He took out a spare key and opened my cell door. He pulled his fist back. He was about to swing when I caught his fist and cut his arm with a key. He pulled back and held his bleeding wrist. He looked up at me, fury in his eyes. He charged. I put my hands on his shoulders and jumped over him. I grabbed his gun and spare key, and shut the cell door with him in it. I quickly went and unlocked my sisters cell door. "Lets go. Grab the dagger. We are getting out of here now." I said protectivly. She nodded grabbed her dagger and we bolted out of the room. I knew exactly where to go. "Lets go!" I called out to her. We ran out into the main foyer. We were met by 6 guards, guns and swords ready. I grabbed my locket that was around my neck and tucked it into my hoodie. I pulled my hood on. "Ready" I whispered. "Set" my sister nodded. "Go."
