I don't know much about the site as I've never been to it before, but I hate to see yet another FusionFall community go down. I hope ours won't be next.

as far as I know xlr wouldnt do such a thing its been 2 years and xlr hasnt been looking back to closing this site down. I would see why he would or why jake would

I think he feels like any other manager would not be able to do quite as well a job as him. I'm not saying he thinks he's the best, but he hand-coded the entirety of his website. Much like how I feel of Project: Revive, it's his child. He probably doesn't want someone else to mess with his ideas, and how he feels they should be carried out, and I can respect that.

I can't say much on this topic since I'm on my phone typing this message and my battery is about to die.

But I WILL say this:
Xtreme won't be going anywhere.
It will sooner die of inactivity than a closing.

X doesn't have to pay for anything here and most of us get on here to talk about random stuff besides fusionfall. I think if he wants, he could integrate CN Social or whateverz with some other kind of subject. Zero here brings up Battlefield here and there and Target gives in depth Gamer knowledge here and there as well so we offer more than just fusionfall stuff.

I hope Jake finds a new rythm for his site versus shutting it down.

I can't prepare a speech for something of this magnitude since I've got my unit 2 physics exam in a couple of hours but I will say these words.

Firstly, Xtreme will not close down, ever, unless something out of my control arises.
Secondly, I will miss that site and admin but at least we have some time to persuade Jake to keep it open! Stay optimistic!

If it is decided that he goes ahead with closing his site, then we have to make sure
it goes out in style with Xtreme hang outs, collaborations and so on.
E.g. the 7 legends movie....cough cough...bonus scenes...

I hope Jake and my other friends at FMHQ stay in contact whichever outcome occurs.
After my exams, I'll be back.

It's like FusionFall Central all over again.

BTW, Xtreme and FMHQ (or previous versions) have both been up for over 3 years.
I think this forum had to be remade so it's slightly newer than the Xtreme site.
I think it's even been 4 years...I think. 3 or 4, give or take, I'll have to find out...

Also, I don't think Jake's main issue is cost.
There are free alternatives.
He stated his main reason on his site.

Don't worry ladies... As long as Hom is here you all have a reason for staying... Nahh im kidding but I do find that sad I mean the FF community is getting small as if it isn't enough as it is. But yeah nothings gonna last forever especially Fusionfall.
