| What do you mean? Are you talking about the X shaped mouse that appears when you go onto this forum? That disappears when you're away from Xtreme. In fact it doesn't always work. (Probably depends on browsers or something...not sure, never really investigated it.)
Or have you suddenly received an animated cursor on your computer and have no idea how it got there? |

If it came with the computer, it's most likely normal. |

| What's "breaking cursor rules" ? Is that the name of the cursor? *Googles* Found it! http://www.rw-designer.com/cursor-detail/6461 I assume it's that anyway. LOL, I found my old link to the cursor I made: http://www.rw-designer.com/cursor-detail/27195 24 downloads? I never knew people even heard of it... LOL the breaking cursor rules cursor has 25 downloads... If you want to change the cursor, go to Start button > Control Panel > Hardware and sound > (under devices and printers, there should be 'Mouse') Click Mouse and click on the 'Pointers' tab and select whichever cursor you want. Check your installed programmes list and see if the mouse is listed or any other suspicious software. Did you get this cursor suddenly? It's possible that you have been infected with a virus if that's the case. I would do a full virus and malware scan. I have never had a cursor randomly install itself. Although luckily, I don't get viruses often at all. (I'm pretty careful and paranoid. But anyone can get a virus, it's not impossible.) |

| This happens to me whenever I'm on Xtreme as well. It's just animated text cursor that keeps saying breaking cursor rules. It gets annoying. |

What browser are you guys using?? On FireFox, no cursor change occurs, not even the proper Xtreme one. Does the cursor go away when you leave Xtreme and go to a different page?? |

| I would guess somehow the custom browser I made and put to be displayed when on Xtreme, isn't compatible with your computers or browsers. So, I have decided to remove the cursor completely. I'm going to miss that cursor...that uh...sometimes works... It looks like this when it actually works: When it doesn't work for me, my normal windows mouse is used instead. For some of you, you get that 'breaking cursor rules' cursor; I have no idea why. Maybe it's part of Windows so when there's an incompatible cursor loaded, that shows. (Although it would have been better if Windows just used its default...) Thanks for telling me about this, probably other people were having the same problem. BUT to confirm, tell me if the problem has stopped, since I removed the custom mouse. |
