First topic message reminder :

Request a graphically designed avatar, signature or rank for your forum profile.
Anyone can design them for anyone else.
But when requesting, please try to include some detail on what you want.

E.g. *example member*: I want a halo reach themed
signature. Use this image *inserts image of master chief....the main halo character*
and I want the colour scheme to be black and red.
'Here's a pic of my character' *Inserts* Try to add it in the signature.
Include things like
-Colour scheme. (Including specifics such as text, background colour, etc.)
-Text font. (If you want text.)
-Sizes.
-Be specific.

That's what I mean by detail. If you can make a rough drawn copy to be revamped, that's even more helpful for designers.
Also, remember to be patient!  

EDIT: Here are templates to help you make your own rank image/badge:
(You don't have to you use them but the sizes used are pretty spot on and close within the acceptable
range but if you don't like how it curves at one side, you can change that to suit you but the sizes are generally
quite proportionally correct for this forum)

Rank image (large size; usually for adding extra little graphics which may extend above the rank button
thing itself)



NOTE: these templates are transparent in some areas so keep that in mind when editing
and also, the larger rank template has transparent space at the top to allow
for icons or graphics that extend above the button part itself where the text resides.

Also, an alternative to using these templates is to just copy an already made rank
on a member's profile and edit around it, replacing text and colours, etc.

You should Default that rank to new members until they reach 50 posts

Plus we don't really know who should be certified or not. Sounds like a dangerous game of trust if you think about it.
And I'm not sure I have the project file for the Trader rank above which I made long ago for a member.
I could edit pixel by pixel which would be long though.

Since this one is SORT OF plausible to do in a short space of time, maybe I could do it

Also, ranks shouldn't have too much blood or violence-related content. 

I don't feel bad when I see people with other ranks. Why should they? If they want to be certified, they'll have to earn it.  I'm certified because of my honesty in trading. No need to scam to get what I want. You can ask around. 

If it's too much don't even worry about it. I can do without just fine.

@Dr.Snake, there's just an issue with adding certified to it.
Trader or even elite trader is fine but certified is a little on the controversial side.
Up to you dude. But I'd prefer if you didn't request the certified bit.
There are lots of trustworthy traders here but it's best if it's a rank you
don't have to earn in any way. (E.g. commander...it's nothing official but ADMIn obviously would be a no.)

As for the colouring of the rank, do you mean purple background
and trader in black?   I think I can do that without the project file, hopefully.

See how the current one is?  Instead of green purple with that fading into black effect. And the words can be  bright green. 

If Certified is too much, Elite is fine.

First frames:
[Purple version of] Trader rank with Elite (what colour should Elite be? Same as Trader? Both black and white?)

In between frames: fading into black. (Actual fading or wiping? Fade = dimming. Wipe = like a wipe effect with the dimness)

Last frames:  It fades into what? Just black? Then repeat loop?

Due to unclear instructions and 'artistic license' ( yeah right)
I usually make changes to make requests look better but I also provide alternative versions.
Time consuming but oh well. :/

See, my current member rank has the color green and it fades into black at the ends. Same thing with the new one, just color purple instead. Unless animated looks better than I'll take whatever you come up with.

The letters bright green, unless elite looks better in gold then I'll take gold. Black outlined too, or just simple, whichever looks better.

It's better than XFF's logo texture yet has a similar colour scheme.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with your style.
In art, there is not right or wrong answers technically.
But your's does have shadow!
Maybe you're after that glossy effect I put on most ranks?
That make it look like glass?

But you don't need the gloss in that rank, unless you think it looks better.
Both look great in my opinion!
But you can just leave your's as it is, it looks brilliant.
The gloss might add an extra effect but it also could make it look more washed out
and less vibrant like your current one. Just sayin'. Hope that helps.

Really? owo...

I basically made layers in this order (from top to bottom):
Rank name
Moving symbols
outline of rank
Background

And the background was taken from a part of a picture and i basically moved it around till i found a good spot for a background. I'll put a picture where I've chosen for my rank: 

Then for animation i did frame by frame moveing the symbols up and down magic lol

The letter text was from cooltext.com copied and pasted. Yeah...
