I had to take a break from the forums yesterday guys. Been trying desperately to cope with the closing since I get emotionally invested in whatever project I decide to dedicate myself to.

I also havent been able to really put into words (acceptable words) how I truely want to express my feelings on this sudden and disrespectful closure.

However, I did take a look on the closure thread on the official forums and read some of the posts by other players.


From there, I was able to form a bit of my feelings.

This is what I submitted:

(TRUE STORY)
There is a user that played your game that found their only friends in FusionFall. They joined a fansite that was about FusionFall and immediately met other players that were just as passionate about the game as they were. Before this, they didnt have any. They were bullied in school, Shorter than their peers, and wished they had friends.


Did I mention that this player ALSO had Cancer?


They didnt have ANY friends until they found the FusionFall online community. At first, it was just some random site that they got on to just talk to other players. But because the community was VERY SLOWLY growing, it was just a couple of us. So, because of this, we became closer, not PERSONALLY CLOSE like find-yourself-on-a-map close........but we learned a bit about each other and got to know each other. Because of that, this player found a place where they TRUELY felt at home. A place where they werent going to be judged on their appearance but on the content of their character
(literally and figuratively)


From that point on, they had something to distract themselves from their debilitating condition. They blossomed and became a very important and irreplaceable part of our community.


They found Solace in FusionFall and the community that it provided.


THIS IS WHAT FUISIONFALL GRANTS PEOPLE LIKE THEM.

In your eyes, this game is a money waster. Space hog. a potential to put another money waster.
It apparently means nothing to you and its evident in the way that you have handled the situation.




To someone who has to wonder whether the next day will be granted to them, this is their only refuge.



This is ALL True.
I will leave it to my friend to come forward to reveal their identity.


So. I want you to REALLY..............HONESTLY................TRULY think about what I have mentioned and truly decide if you want to take something like this away from a person like that.

And if you DONT find away to even ACKNOWLEDGE the fact that you've even seen this............Then you will have even less respect in my eyes and the eyes of the rest of the community."

Undelos it was because of business. The GMs contract and budget of staff wasn't enough for the game to live on. Yes it's discusting to see them mention ffh but apperently CN staff and presidents are ## iditos. And no we can not work for CN because we don't meet the rquiremts and scholarship range to do so anyways.

I don't know... I'm thinking of going to art college next year so...

i'm going with the reason they approve those awfully spelled messages is because they're too lazy to read through the more detailed and heartfelt 1s, that and those little kids would complain every 5 minutes because they can't post

oh Undarque ;-; *hug* im really fed up about this too and i learned about it only yesterday (excuse my obliviousness) . so much stuff happened in FF tht made who i was now, i've met friends, i've been through tough times with them and all, but their all syill my friends and nothing can change that.  hey set the exzample that helped shape me into who i was now.  and i tell you, i GOtTA respect that. even whrn the things from them i pledged noy to ever get too involved with internet again. but..... seeing that i am to give up a bond, i soon desided against it.

when they stop updating? No.

When they remove the future? No.

When they remove chat? No.

When they shut the game down?  No.

When everyone forgets about it, that's when it dies.

Yep.. to me fusionfall ended probably Close to a year ago when my bro master quit, not because he quit mostly because hacks got lose.
and community went down hill.
There was about 2 generations of fusionfall
maybe 3 or 4
in 2009 and beta but.

@undarque... Tldr.. And well there's a lot more to life then cartoon shows .-. And much to young eh? Well While your busy being old enough ill be busy making sure I don't get old enough on child's play.

Im gonna miss fusion fall. Im going to miss everyone.    So tommorow after football practice if im not to tired and bruised up. Im gonna walk the entire worl of fusion fall and I mean every part. Null void to the suburbs to the city to the wild to the darklands to the unknown, to remember all the great times i had in the fusion fall community! Im gonna miss everyone and everything, Im gonna miss being a noob im gonna miss fighting mega echo echo Im gonna miss having fun and laughing with other players i have much more to say but im really tired but you get the point.   And whenever i watch all the old shows like Camp lazlo fosters KND ed edd n eddy dexter PPG jhonny bravo ect and its all gonna remind me of the good days i had in fusion fall.

@Grumpy, you have no characters now?
One option is to make a new character and try to recreate it,
it won't have the same clothes but at least you'll have the face lol.
Just an idea. (Also, I think it's possible to switch clothing around in 3D models, how easy I don't know but you know...)
