| I'm going to start to work on 7 Legends soon. Can anyone give me tips on doing enemies in Unity? Anyone know a script and can give me one? Please! |

| If you plan to make a game by asking around for scripts, you're not gonna get very far. |

Well, at least it's not soul-crushing. lol WHAT is your problem with wilt, every time he posts you have a remark to make about it, take a relaxation pill for that. though I'm pretty sure he ignores you every time. |

though I'm pretty sure he ignores you every time. Well I used to look up to him when Project R was announced, then he became dark and miserable. And yeah, I think he ignores almost everyone. It's like he lives in a cave, with some cool gadgets. And when night comes, he looks for criminals to beat up. |

| The only thing I can suggest is either to look at the assets section of the official Unity website (there are some free assets there) or download a sample project from Unity and modify it. (I.E. replacing textures and model meshes.) It can be done. Just takes work. Not something I would want to bother with though but if that's what you want to try to do then go for it lol. Or look at the script references page on the Unity website. http://docs.unity3d.com/Documentation/ScriptReference/(Type something you want a script for.) There's also the Unity Wikia: (particularly controllers, e.g. third person controllers/camera setups, etc.) http://wiki.unity3d.com/index.php/Scripts/ControllersIf you're new to unity, I'd say start with a capsule like I did with my Escape To Foster's Home Unity game (It's on the Xtreme FusionFall website, Games page) which I put a texture of Bloo over to make it look like Bloo. Probably add a rigidbody, third person controller or similar, MouseOrbit, etc. I haven't messed around in Unity for a while so I can't help you that much. With a proper model, you may run into some complications unless you have a really good script or something. I put A.I. enemies in my Project Mountain Unity game (also on the XFF website Games page) which I got from a demo project. (I was quite young and very new to Unity at the time, I know if I did it now, I would have at least issued them with textures and maybe mesh changes but whatever.) However, my project folder of that game is corrupted and was made in an older version of Unity. So I probably can't give you the scripts or prefabs for it. That's all I can say really. YouTube/internet tutorials and demo projects, pre-made scripts and prefabs, etc. Hope that helps.

Probably doesn't want you to waste time on this like he wasted time on the game he made. |

If EVERYONE starts thinking twice about doing new things, we wouldn't be where we are now. I mean, look at Mission: Impossible. It's impossible, but they still do it! |

| Grumpy makes an excellent point. I'm not trying to put you down or anything, I just want people to realize, "LET'S MAKE A GAME" is much harder than you likely imagine. You will get nowhere with Unity assets or asking around for scripts. If you want anything done, with quality and personalization, you have to learn it yourself. About 5 or 6 years ago, I decided I wanted to make fan art of FusionFall, and through teaching myself Photoshop, Blender, animation, texturing, and modelling techniques, I'm still miles away from doing anything close to making a game which is what I tried to do about a year ago. You're going to have to take some time and start with far less ambition, because you're setting yourself up for failure. |
