However, the information on the first submission he states that the Servers were actually open on September 13.

Now, as I said before, I dont know him so I'm not sure if he's just making it up. However, there is that off chance that maybe the info's legit.

There's no timestamp on the screenshot and with that, no way to tell when the screenshot was taken.

All there's left is pure speculation maybe....

Wasn't it around that time when everyone was talking on that thread about them being open?? Maybe they actually were

Hi, I come to clear things up, the first picture was taken a day before it closed FusionFall, take the image to add the news that the servers were opened (one apparently youtube user could enter the game for a while), the second picture ... it's just a joke ... but if I'm working on a project and perhaps achieve add vehicles.
(yes... my English is very bad.)

I figured wilt would do some crazy ninja moves and somehow find his own way into the game.

I wonder if people did get in the game,

maybe using that technique that people used to skip the cn advertisements using google chrome.

Opened? You mean the servers are still up and running and not shut down? If so then yes the servers are actually NOT shut down, even at this very moment. It is more that the game is made unplayable rather then the servers are shut down.
As far as I know the servers WERE shut down when the game got shut down. Then just one day unexpectedly the servers are up again and they are still there up and running to this very day. Strange case really...

So yeah we have the servers actually running but you should not be able to get into the game. Unless someone found a way to hack their way in someway or something.

Well joke or not, Code ninjas are prized around here. You're always welcome to show what you're working on with C# as far as FusionFall goes. ALOT of peple here would like that.

I always had a feeling that was the case. Even their *cough*original webzite*cough* is still up.
So yeah, I figure if they're slacking off on taking that down (no complaints about it by the way) Then most likely the game is still fully functional on their servers.

It was just merely the ability of them being accessible by clients that was the issue. But...........alas. It was just false.

as far as hacking it back open or something like that, We'll just leave it to Wilt and Eva to do something like that. We dont have the knowledge or the interest to do something like that.

Yeah this whole case is little weird. I mean they had not touched the website after shut down as everything is still there as it was. You would expect after big shut down they would remove the no longer needed parts of the website. It is a mystery what is going on. My bet is still that maybe they make a new game which maybe even a new Fusionfall game. I have been thinking that maybe the very moment they stopped the updates they had already decided about this. Everything is very fishy and possibly only time can tell the answer what is going on. Though I wish someone could find it out.

Or is that too far up the food chain. Possibly Viacom? Or does Viacom even care about that sort of thing........? 

Well think about it I mean they had more stuff they could add into the game, especially on the nanos side. There were all the nanos on the background image at code nano page. Heck we even saw Way Big and Ultimate Big Chill models in the game. Heck Ult Big Chill was even on the new nanos spotlight image all blacked out assuming it will come in the future. They even had the full Van Kleiss nano's level decided. They could have gone forward more and give us more stuff but they just suddenly had a rushed stop even though possibly at that moment Fusionfall was especially strong and fans had more hope for it then since a very long time. So I say it is possible they are making a new game and that is why they stopped at that point because they started to work on the new game instead. Maybe now it is time now to put the new game in it's place and use the Fusionfall servers for the new game for testings and such and that is why they shut down Fusionfall to make way and start a revolution new game.

First of all, I can confirm that they game was not taken down for any extended amount of time for some big update. They can do that on their own private servers no problem.

Secondly, a good friend of Eva's, as well as Eva himself managed to actually get online in FusionFall in later August, a couple days after the game servers were turned off. This was for a very limited amount of time, and they don't seem to have been functioning since.

They do not need to put the game online to get assets for FusionFall Heroes.

Finally, Jake MagnaVox managed to pull some sneaky tricks and actually got the game to run. However, because the servers are actually off, it is impossible to login, and no character data can be loaded.

He saved the HTML code for the game running on the intro page and replaced the current one. It's important to note that only a few assets are downloaded/verified before the game ceases to continue.

Wait... does that mean that someone has the .unity3d file or
does that only work with certain unity games?

I know with the game Paradise Paintball 3D (now Uberstrike which is a million times worse of a game)
that I saved the .unity3d file and was able to play it offline in a browser.
But obviously, with that very old version of the game, only the tutorial worked
and no game servers were working as they were offline.
Paradise Paintball 3D was sort of an FPS MMO by the way.
Was a great game until the very generic Uberstrike version took over.
