In 2009 and possibly 2008, on halloween, the sky went to night time.
Were you there when it happened?
it was such a dramatic change to the usual skybox, really cool but not sure if they're going to do it again in 2011 since
they didn't do it last year in 2010 :/
Also, when you used your weapon on a monster, a pumkin shot out each time which was a cool effect.

I seriously would have LOVED TO SEE THAT! I dont think I was in FusionFall when that came around. I signed up a long time ago back when they let people in during the days of their Beta version. However I wasnt using my own computer at the time so I couldnt install the Unity Web Player. So it was only until around September 2009 when I went to college did I even try to log into my old account that I made since FusionFall is right up my alley of what I'm going into.

And even then, I didnt know about the Halloween modification. Wish I was there....

Oh, yeah I knew about FusionFall a long time ago too but in the days of the beta/alpha I was afraid of viruses

Lol I wasn't very good with computers at the time and then finally in early 2009 I joined FusionFall. Very Happy

It was an awesome event, let's hope it comes back this year too.

OH YEAH and the fusions and fusion waters were orange too Big Grin

Just the fact that I know that if you change the color of the Texture map, I know that you can quickly modify any area you please. 2.) Cool, I've worked with skyboxes, it's not as difficult as you think but is a bit tricky trying to get
the images to fit together well enough to look smooth when turned into a 360 degree sky box or sphere.

A friend of mine was trying to finish a project in Maya last year. I think He was trying to make a 30 second video based off of Red Vs. Blue. Not sure about the specific ammount of time though because it takes FOREVER to render one scene of about 30 seconds. He made a relatively good Skybox, even though I think he had some trouble with it though.

I know that in Kingdom Hearts on Destiny Island, Their skybox was Extrodinary! By the way, that is the only complement that you'll ever get me to admit about Kingdom Hearts since I have a small dark place of detest in my heart for that game.... however it was just one of those things you just happen to notice......Reguardless of the shallow, overatedness of the Game and its gameplay.

I don't get how anyone can play those games they arent unique -.-

Eh....no. No I dont.

I dont have internet at home really. Right now I am piggybacking off of someones wireless router that is nearby my house but it is in no way strong enough for me to get into FusionFall so I can get a good Halloween Screenshot.

All I have to show are the ones that are on my site. I could make one with pen, paper, and colored pencil but that would take time.

I'll keep that option open though....
