I started wondering with how fast you guys have been accelerating through leveling up, how many of you have been paying attention to the plot??   

Part of the reason I dont really zoom through leveling up is because of that reason.

Not directly.......but that does play a part in it.


Le Plote:
FusionFall was simple. It was still engaging............but simple at the same time.
Aliens are invading and are about to destroy the world. Join forces with evil villians as we all try to protect our home from Lord Fuse. (feels weird typing that name again...almost nostalgic)

Dn...................is more complicated than that. Almost more than what I can comprehend.......but I do try my best because a true adventure/RPG fan knows that there is where most of the enjoyment comes from: the story.

Dn is a rather complicated jumble of events that slowly gets connected together over a period of time. Granted, I'm not complaining in the least; in fact its rather engaging to find out what happened to what and how it happened........even though the girl Rose ONLY came to live in Iron(pfft fergot lolz) village only because her mother and father were killed trying to get her to safety because she was predicted to be the next Prophet. (if themz is spoilerz to you.......then you havent been paying attention to your missions  )
Its not as fun as FusionFall, nor as easy to grasp.......but its something to add to the fun than just BLINDLY DESTROYING STUFF IN DUNGEONS.


Noteworthy Characters:
Now, you may have heard me complain from time to time about the voice actors in the SDGi (Europe) version but HEY!

They make or break a game too.

I wish you guys could play the Nexon Version. I actually have a serious soft spot for Rupert in that version. If you dont know who that is, then the SDGi version isnt doing its job.
In the Nexon version, Rupert is actually rather particular about what you put in your storage, hates freeloaders, adventurers that store weird stuff and he has to sort through it, when May asks him to store her random garbage, and he is also the most handsome warehouse keeper in Alteria and YOU SHOULD ALWAYS GO TO HIS STORAGE AND NO ONE ELSES.

I miss knowing NPC's like that.

FusionFall, it was pretty much a given. We couldnt wait to finally find Ben, Eddy, Johnny Bravo or Dexter in game. Even though they didnt do much besides give you missions and occasionally help you out in an Instance Zone, they were still special to you.

They added a new incentive to the game to log in each and every day and choose weapons, scooters and armor based on your favorite shows.

Dn could have that same sort of pull if done right. I could summarize a bit of how I feel about a few of the more prominent NPC's you encounter:

May is a wannabe diva that feels she is above the old backwater, country village of Calderock,

Master Sorceress Cynthia is a mean Tsundere that has no love for the Templar guards, ( may have gotten that name wrong)

Sorceress Tara should be put on a pedestal for how "UN-Sorceresslike" she is,

Master Archer Adeyline is the most sane one there, and the most heart broken,

May cooks worse than a Blind person with a nervous condition,

Bailey is not above tampering with body parts from monsters brought back by you from the abyss.........and slightly enjoys doing so,

May is insane......and so is the Guild Master,

Argenta and Cynthia must be related to each other.......somehow,

I avoid eye contact with Rupert until I have something to give him to make him happy again,

May can gang press you in doing just about anything if the EXP is good enough,

The blacksmith (corin?) is just bad touch all the way around
(THE DUDE STABBED ME!!! AND DIDNT CARE!!!)

Gerrant's soft appearance lied to me. he's almost as nasty as her.....

May is just................ergawd.

I could go on, but I believe I made my point, sorta.
This really only comes from a good voice cast.

Its like watching an anime with a REALLY BAD DUB. If the characters dont sound believable..........then you wont eventually care. So it becomes almost a chore to watch.

Maybe I can ask SDGi if there is something against them making a few changes in their audio....?  Maybe ask for Nexon's classy A+ version..... 

Yes... and no. Sometimes I'm just too bored to pay attention. Speaking of Dexter, I wish he had more World Missions. He only had a few in the early 20s.

well as weird as it is, it's actually pretty engaging, and i don't mind voice acting that much as long it's not so bad you can't anything seriously (thank glob for text during the NPC interaction   ) and there are certainly a few people i'd like to have a word with (stupid Sorceress stealing my Communicator   ) and it will only get better whenever i get passed level 10 (slow leveling playing on Normal Dungeons)

The plots not that hard,  save the girl who has the blood of an ancient extinct race and she's gonna be used to revive the dark dragon.

well since i don't actually have an Xbox controller, i'd say Keyboard...granted using a touchpad mouse makes things a little awkward, but those few months of Smite have conditioned my hands for this, so it's not a problem...other than being a terrible shot because hit detection feels off, but i am an adapter, like a...i don't know, an animal that adapts  

oh and then there's the reading...don't even get me started on the reading

Lol at the stab scene, it sounded like a silly anime scene when I played as the elf.

I'm trying NOT to assume that he will eventually be a bad guy.............but his ugly mug is just too offending for the eyes....

Grumpy, Undelos...

I've been paying a little attention to the story and it's not that deep, at least to the point where i am it's not.

There has been some interesting parts though, like the death of Rose's sweetheart (I think his name was Daniel?) And that I somehow got a super legendary sword called "Leica the storm". But it turns out that only the extinct species of people called "ancients" can use it, and since Rose is considered the next prophet, Rose could also be the last ancient in the world.

I dunno, just an idea.
