A couple of months back, playing Chapter 10 in Xenoblade Chronicles X, I found myself... starting to act a bit like Coop from Megas XLR. Basically in Chapter 10,
Yes, this is actually being used for spoilers for once:
, you have to climb the Delusian Mountains in Sylvalum to repair a faulty data probe. Suddenly, Dagahn and Ryyz, two revenge-thirsty Ganglion members appear piloting this humongous mech called the Zu Pharg and... well basically you have to take it down.
Now, in that playthrough, I wasn't exactly over-leveled. Far from it. So I got defeated. I lot. And my Skell was called Megas at the time so eventually... one of Coop's rolls was starting to build up... which is how I thought of this:

Oliver....did you draw that?
Also, where did the suit design come from? Looks like something veteran tech support from the Xtremists would wear.

. . .
Makes me a bit uncomfortable seeing how good that looks.
I personally don't understand proper comic panel layout yet. Gonna watch a YouTube video on it eventually. But you just went ahead and dived right in. I usually get so nervous about attepting something new like that, I quicky lose heart in finishing it.
Started about 4 comic pages.
Finished none.

Just to add: This looks like such a big step up, Oliver. It's almost unrecognisable as your art. Your proportions are improving a lot.
And dang, you can make a comic page with dat classic Oli humour.
Very nice artwork.
@Undelos, you've probably missed a billion threads since your last visit a millennium ago. Buttons are starting to evolve....
Anyway, there's no need to stress over art. I had faint ideas of comic layouts....in fact still do. (Never followed any correct formula....just used abstract neuron updates as I like to call them.)
In my FusionFall: The Clone Saga: Storm Rising comic, the first couple of pages were clearly made by an amateur. (May have to remaster them at some point.) But later you can see they're alright, right? Even creative, but perhaps not many formulaic pages, which I should probably start adding to give more variety of panel arrangements.
It's a bit of an art and a science but it's not a massive deal. If I can do decently with no knowledge and just practice, imagine what the great Undelos could accomplish in a few pages time. Start off slow. You're gonna improve anyway....and then you can just remaster pages if they're that bad. (They're not gonna be as bad my first couple of pages.)
Just have fun! I did it. Oliver did it. And now....it's your turn.

Well it's one of the uniforms you can wear in-game... I had it in my first playthrough but not yet in this one for some reason (I started again about half-way through the last chapter because I didn't feel I was a high enough level... plus other completionist reasons ), but here's the actual part of the design:
Spoiler:
The rest of the general design is this:

Psssh... it's something I've done for years. I've just evolved it over time so it looks cleaner, like above. But thanks.
