Mhm, you heard me right!
(I don't know if it's closed or not. The post isn't up yet and I got it from one of the Discord servers so... yeah don't get mad at me, Retro team lol)

The download link is here. Totally safe... at least I'm 98% sure. But there's the launcher. You just gotta log in, make yer character and play. As far as I know, only the future is playable, and I don't know if this is the sneak peek or if you can continue playing after. It is Monday now so... yeah.

I do have a few problems, however. In order of how much they bug me... which isn't much;

- Nano health depletes and regenerates probably about 3x faster than it used to. It annoys me because I used to have my nano fly around with me all the time, like a little companion, but now I have to actually preserve their health for when I'm fighting.
- I swear there's less to do. It's only been a couple of hours and I'm already halfway through lvl 3. Maybe I'm just having so much fun that time's going quicker?
- The KND treehouse is... still on the ground... I expected it, I knew it would be like this from screenshots, but *sigh* I still miss it when it was in the air. It felt like one of the only safe havens in a world of destruction. That's just me though.
- Very much a nitpick, the name that comes up when entering an area. It used to slide down from the top, slowing down in the middle. Now it just bounces from right to left and it just... doesn't feel right, y'know?

In any case though, it's very stable so far, I only had one freeze and that was using the croc pot lol. Very little lag. And yes, it is multiplayer. So come on in, feel free to do some lookin', stay over cause somethin's always cooki-oh wait, that's Chowder...

y' know, the lack of build-up to this made it tough to spot, i'm just lucky i checked a bit ago

also, off topic, but Firefox really hates the icons on this forum (i say this because i'm being forced to use it now )
but, i digress, the Land of No Stal Gia awaits, friends! let us journey back in time.... but also forward, because.... you know what i mean

What's wrong with them? I'm still using Chrome so I haven't noticed anything.

for the Firefox icon thing, earlier the buttons on top weren't loading (they are now) and like, half the emoticons aren't showing up

oh, and unfortunately i'm getting an error that as of yet remains without a working solution (i've checked the forums), so i'll be waiting for that to be sorted out

If this is about Retro, then yeah... I was hoping they'd have added the time lab but not yet. Not being able to use the time machine I fully understand, can't go back to the past if there's no past to go to but... time lab...

(Also there's a Discord server for Xtreme up. Been there for like a year. Only now has it been active because Retro. Only people talking there though are me, Ace, Undelos and sometimes Zuko. Since only Xtremists will be able to find this, invite is here.)

OKAY! so with a solution found, i too now revel in the vast, open field that is No Stal Gia

....of course, the Future wasn't really my primary experience with the game, but the really vague memories of my time there are going to be interesting to relive

Where is everyone? I've not seen many people from Xtreme on FF Retro Beta.
Maybe we just don't go on at the same times, or I'm in the wrong server
or place in game.

Can't buddy warp yet.  
Maybe a default hang out area or two for Xtreme?
I'm thinking Sector V tree house, Goat's Junkyard, Bad Max and Don Doom's areas.

I'm thinking maybe the fountain over at Genius Grove. It's got enemies, yes, but no one ever goes to Genius Grove these days. Goat's Junkyard also seems good though...

When I noticed the time it was when I got disconnected by GM today. :O

Well the FF: Universe Twitter hinted at something the day Beta came out. Other than that, we've all just been looking at the site and some Discord servers everyday since March when it was announced.

And yeah, we're all cool with meeting up I'd say. I don't really play much nowadays though. Not much to do yet.
