I mean, astronomy is hardly in the syllabus (maybe just star, satellites, etc. stuff in GCSEs)
but doesn't biology, chemistry, physics or psychology interest you Oli?
I think I lost interest in astronomy a little because it was hardly taught in school/college. 
Plus, astronomy for the moment, is of little help to the human race;
it will be many years before we even send someone to the Moon.  (Apparently the 1969 Moon landings were a hoax
but I don't really know who to believe. When I was younger, I definitely thought it was a hoax. I won't list why because
I'm off topic as it is...lol.)

Anyway...

I'll test the backgrounds but really, we need a new custom made one. 
Maybe when Undelos has more free time, she can make something AWESOMEZ. 
Like she always does....
And maybe Oli could....I dunno.   
A collaboration...perhaps.....maybe......

I'll have you know that I am doing Plumbing.  Biology and Chemistry can be boring, I've never tried Psychology, but I'm guessing it involves this:

How did you find science GCSEs, Oli? If you don't mind me asking...
I found GCSEs initially much more interesting than A levels.
But then I guess, if you process information more, you start to be more interested.
So I'm enjoying A levels a lot more than I used to.   
Also, chemistry I THINK is the most difficult, followed by physics.
If you've got a good memory, it's all good. 
Sadly my memory is unpredictable.    But I'll try to pull through.
I'ma try using mind maps and stuff....

Brick-laying was part of the Construction course, which was what I did in my 1st year. Plumbing is easy at times, but not all the time. As for my science GCSEs... I don't wanna talk about it.

E.g. star formation, geostationary and polar satellites....
Can't remember if there were any more. Probably not.
The rest of the physics was stuff like motors, lenses and such.
The electromagnetic spectrum was cool though.  (E.g. X-Rays, Infra Red...etc...DAT stuff is COOL.   )

Well Oliver, you're probably the one with the most astronomy knowledge on the whole forum.

Did you gain this knowledge from the internet or encyclopedias?  (I'm guessing encyclopedia books.)

I'm not sure about being the most knowledgeable about astronomy on this forum. I haven't read anything about it in years.

and psychology is actually really cool, i'm taking it right now  i feel like i have the key to living awesomely haha xD i was going to take astronomy this year, but not enough people signed up so i couldn't take it... and now i'm in chem with like the best teacher evaaaa  haha

Well that sucks. Couldn't it just have been a small class? I mean, it would give the teacher an easy time, and there would be a smaller chance of you sitting near someone you don't like.

 Well if it doesn't have more than 12 people you can't do it... so it's lame... but my school has a ton of random classes   like i'm doing ceramics this year, and next year i'm doing auto maintenance  (to fulfill my childhood dream (not my dream currently) of becoming a car mechanic xD... yeah i was that girl who collected hotwheels cars, dreamed of owning a monster truck, and wanted to work on cars hahaha)

but i think small classes are fun, one year i had a class with 13 kids, and besides the 2 i despise, we all became super bffs (in that class only though haha)

yeah our school has a ton of more random classes, we have every art class you can imagine, i even took a dance class for my p.e. one year xD haha
... a bunch of random classes... except astronomy and meteorology... haha yeeah...

Oh man on a side note, the person who was in charge of building my highscools, made a living building prisons.... that just shows how ## my school is hahaha xD
