This game is quite nostalgic to me since I played it even before FusionFall. (right click > view image, if you want to enlarge the screenshot .....not sure why Forumotion isn't doing it automatically)
It shut down years ago but some AR fans managed to get it working! (Used to require logging in with a CBBC account through a dead server but now anyone can play it and it runs.) If you're confused, CBBC is a British kids channel.
Adventure Rock wasn't even HD back then but they managed to mod it a bit and get full HD mode.
It's not a multiplayer game (unless someone thinks they can mod it? ) but it's still a pretty good game, check it out.
Its visual style is similar to CartoonNetwork's FusionFall and MiniMatch games (remember that game? ).
Gameplay:
You can download it from:
https://anthe.studio/kic/
Doesn't have any viruses but it's always good practice to scan anything and everything you download.
Games like Superia and Gulliland seem to be very similar to AR but in a different language and other slight design differences. But before that, AR seems to be based on Ketnet Kick (a Belgian game I think), which is quite different but with some similarities. Ketnetk Kick 1 screenshot:
There's also Ketnet Kick 2. The website above has all those games working fairly well. An occasional crash here and there (like FF ) but it's quite functional.
Let me know if you play and what you think about it.
Objective of the game: explore, collect gears/cogs and pages to unlock upgrades for Cody the floating robot companion. You'll then be able to unlock different levels (parts of the map like the snowboarding level, snowball fight, movie studio, etc.).
One of my favourites is Rainbow Canyon because it has a lot of platforms to jump between. Kinda like FF's Goat's Junkyard map.
Also, FF's antagonist is Lord Fuse, while AR's antagonists are these crocodile creatures that try to take pages before you get them. Both green and mean, eh? The music in this game is also pretty cool and unique, just like FF's.
EDIT: don't worry if the game/character creation screen starts up in a small screen in the corner. It will turn full screen once you actually enter into the game tutorial. You can start the game by opening either KICLauncher.exe or Offline.exe
(KICLauncher.exe allows you to toggle between HD and non HD.)

BBC Universe.
Imagine if they did that though, an actual BBC crossover game with all there fictional shows like Doctor Who and Sherlock. And... y'know, the less popular ones that I can't think of. Okay, it probably wouldn't be as varied as FusionFall...
Actually no, what if every kid's channel had their own FusionFall? Nick had one similar for a time years ago. It was an MMO more akin to Club Penguin, but you could visit worlds of your favourite shows at the time like Spongebob, Avatar, whatever else they had at the time... it was actually around 10 years ago, I just realised.
Disney sort-of did with ToonTown, but that only had a small amount of Disney characters like Mickey and Daisy. Kingdom Hearts is more like a FusionFall-copy actually. Or rather the other way round. But I still would think it would be cool if every popular kids channel had a FusionFall of their own. Okay so yeah there aren't a lot of popular ones I can think of but... yeah.
Idk.
Maybe not the BBC though. Their history of video games...

Ah I miss Cartoon Universe, it wasn't bad. It had that nostalgic feel to it like FF, MiniMatch and AR have.
I agree with you, it would be cool to have more of these channel computer games.
In AR, a few textures are missing (in the CBBC studio building thing, the gallery portraits things had different images which I can't remember, probably one of them was a photo of CBBC's Hacker).
I remember AR seemed like such a massive mysterious game that would take years to finish but I think even if I finish it, there's probably missing long lost updates. Because even if you unlock all the current levels, there still seems to be the mystery of collecting those pages. There must be a reason for that; maybe some update was going to address that. Oh well, at least most of the game is available.
Was there a 10th Doctor/Rose era computer game?? Not sure if I have a false memory but I remember a free downloadable 3D PC game with the 10th Doctor. Right now I can only find 11th Doctor 3D games. Kinda driving me mad. So how do you like Adventure Rock? I want to mod it with custom textures and 3D models. Because why not?

I don't remember any 10th Doctor games... except this one with Martha:
Spoiler:
Except that's Martha, not Rose. And no one likes Martha.
As for this, I haven't tried it yet, but it looks nice so I might eventually.

This is such an old thread but I had to ask...

What was the Nickelodeon game you were talking about? Probably wasn't 3D but still curious. Know any other Nickelodeon games that were either 3D or kind of an MMO style?
Did you ever try out CBBC Adventure Rock? I'm guessing you never knew about it back then so it's probably not nostalgic to you but it's definitely worth trying it out, especially when you get to Rainbow Canyon (the level with lots of platforms). I can't really think of a game more similar to FF than Adventure Rock, except Mini Match, remember that game?
That game didn't last long, did it? Wish someone archived it. It had FusionFall vibes. Am I the only one that thought some areas in Mini Match resembled Sector V? I'd even replay FusionFall Heroes! Probably just triggered someone by saying that. Other games from the FF/Mini Match era were stuff like Project Exonaut, Ben 10 Game Creator and Ben 10 Alien Force Bounty Hunters. Probably lost media at this point. Unless one of them is on BlueMaxima's FlashPoint (has old games archived) but I don't know how to check without redownloading it (massive file size).

Oh that was Nicktropolis. It was an isometric-view online game, kinda like Habbo Hotel I suppose. I don't remember much, this was like 2007, but you could visit the worlds of various Nick shows, like Avatar, Spongebob, etc. and play minigames... I really don't remember much of it at all.

Yeahhh I was never much of a CBBC kid, so it's definitely not nostalgic to me lol. I only ever tuned in to CBBC at my friends house and watch whatever was on, which was either Balamory or Doctor Who.
Good times...

Man, I barely even vaguely remember Mini Match. I don't even recall if I ever played it, but there's something about it that brings back hidden memories. Or at least tries to. Would be nice to go back in time and give it another try.

Yeah a lot of old CN Flash games are on FlashPoint, I checked a while back, but I don't think any of those are there. Hopefully Exonaut gets a revival somewhere...

You were the chosen one! It was said you would destroy the Sith, not join them! Yeah Nicktropolis and Mini Match have that style. Though there's way more footage of Nicktropolis online, maybe it was around longer.
...BRUH. I found the Flashpoint search tool: https://flashpoint-search.unstable.life/
EDIT: link down. New link: https://flashpointproject.github.io/flashpoint-database/
It looks like the latest version has Project Exonaut, it's your lucky day. Or does it just mean "we're working on it"? I'm going to assume Project Exonaut is actually there and playable. But at what cost? I may have to look into an updater that might allow downloading the newest version of Flashpoint, without having to download the entire game library all at once. I'd rather just download the database and specific games manually if it's possible. Guess what. Ben 10 Game creator is on there! And other versions of CN Game Creator games like Batman. I thought they were gone for good. Brings back memories. It was actually fun making your own game levels.

Somehow I doubt Exonaut is actually playable. It would need a server to connect to

Lots of the games on Flashpoint once required a server to run but they somehow trick the games into running offline (maybe not always perfectly...?). If I manage to install the latest version of Flashpoint, I'll let you know. Maybe I'll make a thread or something. EDIT: I thought the newest version of Flashpoint was a TB or something massive like that. Turns out there's two options. Flashpoint Ultimate: which is updateable BUT OVER A TERABYTE! Flashpoint Infinity: which cannot be updated (have to download Flashpoint all over again to update) but it's under 800MB....so not too bad. Adventure Rock is under 700mb. Drum roll....Exonaut works, just tried it. Exonaut is a 144MB download and plays in the browser. It's not exactly like I remember. Maybe I'm mixing it up with another game with similar mechanics. Or it was just a really long time ago and I played it once for 5 minutes. Anyway, Ben 10 Ultimate Game Creator works! The Alien Force version is in Japanese, and works, kind of. (Have to resize the window then it displays correctly.) I don't know how they archived this. Now to find old childhood games I don't remember the names of.
